Lots of guys suddenly interested in hiking.
Must be the suggestion of "fun during" that grabbed their interest. I think they are getting dogging mixed up with hiking. Most hiking locations would offer very little opportunity for "fun during ".
And most fabbers would want to be a bit more discreet than having outdoor fun in places where the general public might be present.
But if people are genuinely interested in meeting other fabbers to hike and chat and have coffee then there are a number of very successful groups already up and running...pun intended...on here.
S/E group have a walk planned for Wexford on May 4th and Southern group for Limerick on May 11th. See forum threads.

Hey guys.....dunno if ur trying to put our post as bad and or promote ur own, there's lots of room for everybody but it's only a means to meet other swing people not a fuck fest and free for all like all 99% of the single guys think...we're avid hikers and instead of paying crazy money for a social, we taut it might be a cheaper nicer way to meet people.

Absolutely no problem on my part with others starting new hiking groups. A check back through my original hillwalking related and subsequent threads will see that I was very encouraging of others starting groups, in particular in different parts of the country, to make it convenient for as many people as possible to participate.
The only negative I saw in your OP was the "fun during" bit.
Not really practical and perhaps giving people the wrong impression of what could actually happen if they joined a fab hiking group.

Just to be clear, I didn't see the "fun" bit as being a negative. It is the "fun during a hike" that I think is not practical and so may give unreasonable expectations to those that might attend one of your hikes.
But if you can make it work then good for you. I might join one of your hikes sometime, if you allowed me, to see if there is something I can learn to help improve the group I am involved in.

So we hav had a great response,
so we're actively goin to make this happen in a safe fun environment with , Zero pressure on anybody when we sort it.......
