Heard a story this morning on the radio and thought it was so simple why did no one think of it before
Nightclub in Cork for the over 30's only ( should be older in my opinion )
From 6pm to 10pm only
Owner said he'd black out the windows so its dark inside and inside it would be music to dance to and have an oul slow set also
Then out the door at 10pm so your kids would be still awake and you wouldn't need a babysitter
And you'd still be able for work the next day

Think they start and finish even earlier because most said they could be home by 9. "

The older "oldies" have been doing this for years.
They are called "tea dances" or "park and ride".
Lots of popular venues around the country.
Glad to see the younger set finally catching up with their older more experienced counterparts |

It's brilliant everyone been saying it for years. It sold out very quickly and they already announced the next one. Very excited as couldn't make May. I agree 30 is way too young. I actually think I do have my Xtra Vision card. I actually worked for them. Next hopefully we might get a musical theatre rave. |

We started doing that since last September, only our social would start at 3pm and finish at 9pm.
Works great! Public transport still available, no need to book hotels nor find overnight baby sitters.

We started doing that since last September, only our social would start at 3pm and finish at 9pm.
Works great! Public transport still available, no need to book hotels nor find overnight baby sitters.

I was at the limelight event a couple weeks ago. Was absolutely pumping. Went in at 5 and it was like 1 am inside. Music was a bit meh though. Mostly 90s dance but DJ was trying too hard and played about 30 secs of each song before moving on. Bouncers asking for id on the way in too hehe. Keep the kids out. I didn't get asked lmao. Would recommend it. I was wasted though. Didn't go home at 9 of course. Just getting started ahaha |

They had an over 40's one in portobello in a hotel

VHS tapes were easy... Finding DVD players with the rewind option was a nightmare, how many times I had to spin them backwards... |
