Waterford County

I'm a gamer at 36 and when I like to unwind it's my happy place. My mates think it's weird and quite sad that I'm still at it when I'm nearly 40 but in my opinion it's better than throwing money away down the bookies and what not. Please tell me I'm not alone.

I’ve nearly 10 years on you and still play video games.

Feck the begrudgers I say, let them walk a mile in your shoes

If gaming makes you happy, game away. Nobody else should dictate your hobbies or interest.

kinda dublin

This is probably coming from people who sit at home and watch strangers they never met, run around and play sports. Or sit and binge some old shite on netflix all weekend.

It's just another form of entertainment, but entertainment where you control the narrative.

As Will Smith said, parents just don't understand.

Yeah I dunno, I see the craze about helldivers 2 online, but apart from the epic music, looks to me like just a regular FPS.

What gets to me is you don't have any new RTS games, Dune 2 is kinda meh... Waiting to see what Homework 3 is gonna look like.

Don't know if I should dive into Baldurs Gate 3... God knows when I'll resurface back to reality.
