Cant believe The Beatles are mentioned but can understand the hatred for U2 even though I like them.

Ed Sheeran.....fuck me how much damage can one man and a guitar do to so many ear drums

Same. The Beatles are untouchable IMO.

U2 are a little embarrassing, and don't get me started on Ed.

Van Morrison.

I don't know what it is about the Beatles, but they just bore me. Most of their music is change the station sort of stuff for me.

Agree regarding U2 being a bit annoying, and they're well past their best. But in their day, they were an exceptional band.

Dont get me started on the mind numbing trio of Capaldi/Kenendy/Sheeran! Sure their basically the same person!

Is michael Jackson being looked at in a completely different light now because of what he did

I played his music non stop on my walkman in the 80's

I travelled to cork to see him in 88

I saw him again in Dublin in the 90's

Tried listening to Thriller recently and I just couldn't,it seemed wrong

I think to see the greatness of Elvis you really need to put it into context of what else was around at the time when he first broke. It doesn't work so well in a modern context. The same can't be said of samey ballad singers these days

Allegedly.

People used to question me when I stated he was a påedo, my answer to them always was , "would you let him baby sit your kids/newphews/grandkids?

Then they quickly stopped to day allegedly. Sick man he was.

Absolutely, even John Lennon said without Elvis there would have been no Beatles. There was nothing before him only swing music and the blues!

1956 was some year!
