I think we can all agree that part of attraction to someone can be their preferred scent. I met an extremely attractive lady recently, her perfume was intoxicating & then after we went our separate ways, her perfume lingered which kept her in my mind.
I was out & bout the weekend and could smell the same perfume & flashbacks ensued.
Myself personally, i like wearing citrusy, woody & leathery type aftershaves. Ones with bergamot in them. Some faves would be:
Mont Blanc - Explorer
Mancera - Cedrat Boise
Creed - Viking or Green Irish T
Jo Malone - Oud & Bergamot.
So with that, i’d love to hear what brands / notes you like? Ladies what scent do you like on a man?
Gents, any particular scents you like on ladies or like in general.

I’m a Jo malone fan too..
Red poppies with a spritz of neroli over it are what I’ve been wearing for almost a year..
I also love the grapefruit cologne with others layered over it to change it.
(I could sell back bottles of Jo malone to them in BT’s)

Jo Malone is very underrated! Their Myrrh & Tonka is unreal!
Neroli does smell amazing! |

"Sauvage has been mentioned so many times on these threads that at Christmas I treated myself to a bottle and I must say it’s quite nice. "
Sauvage is good, it doesnt work with my natural skin oils so i dont get the full boost of it.
I recommend Mont Blanc Explorer if you are a fan of Sauvage |

I wear scents by Cloon Keen in Galway. They have have a shop in Dublin too I think.
My favourite is Enbarr, which is strongly oud-y. It's actually amazing.
My lighter option is either Castana or Sybarite from the same place. Wonderful scents and made in Galway so you won't find them around easily if you want a unique flair
I used to wear Gaultier Le Male Parfum which I liked ok but some women seemed to really love on me
I'd spend any money for some of the reactions my Cloon Keen has gotten me though.. |

Those sound like very sensual cocktails!
I'm overly sensitive to perfume so I don't wear it generally. I got an Irish Botanical eau de perfum for Christmas though and that's very nice. Verveine and lemon verbena. |

Its amazing how different perfumes react to peoples skins. A friend of mine used dkny and l literally used have an asthma attack near her.
My late sister used miracle and when ever l smell it, instant waterworks... The sense of smell so strong. |

Good choice. I've worn Sybarite and it's gorg. Margaret is soo lovely. Talked me through the range and process and helped me choose something that suited me, sadly I'm out of it now.
I'm wearing Tom Ford Velvet Orchid at the moment which I love too.
Perfumes have got so expensive. |

"There’s a shop in Kilkenny that does their own version of all the most popular perfumes/aftershaves
They’re a lot cheaper and still last really well "
The essence vault is a great website to check out too, their versions last forever too! |
