How would you improve this site?

So what ideas would people have to improve fab?
We both have single accounts so we both see the downsides of how this place works. Some ideas might be...
A small fee to setup and account. Just say 10 euro for a year. May out a lot of the time wasters.
Make it more dating app style. Like or dislike etc.
Nobody can message you until you both like eachother. This will stop women being bombarded with horrible messages straight from the off.
Uploading dick pics on profile is not allowed. If women want to see them they can ask.

Can’t say any of that appeals to me on here.
The big things for me would be:
Updated chatroom
Proper pic moderation - every image uploaded reverse image searched.
Updated forum with ability to “like” a post
Polls feature on the forum
The ability to edit a post
The ability to close off a forum thread as the OP
A green arrow from a persons profile to the forum (like the one already in the forum).

I wouldn't have paid if I had to when I set up this account so you would also potentially lose a lot of genuine people.
I like how fab works. I use filters so I don't get many messages and I'm more than happy to make first contact if I want to . I would hate it to turn out to be more like a dating app if I had wanted that I would have joined one rather than join here.
As for dick pics they don't affect me one way or the other, I would expect them on a site like this and it's easy enough to delete any sent. And to be fair if that was the case then women's graphic pics should also be stopped.
The one thing I would like is the option to turn off the blue dot on here but that is all. |

Block access IP address to making fake accounts for people who are messing and not turning up for meets and actually do something about it if they reported...otherwise I dont see the point in report option

There are many different definitions of "timewaster" and it's often aimed at people who don't do things the way others want them to so charging an annual fee won't make the slightest but of difference and has more potential to drive away genuine people who may be curious and are just dipping their toes in.
Setting pic restrictions or telling people what pics they should have on their profile is also a major no.
All site rules should apply equally to all members regardless of gender.
It's very easy to avoid pics you don't like.
For every woman on the forums who complains about dick pics there is another who loves seeing them.
This isn't a dating site and it's a very simple site to navigate and engage with people just by using the existing filters and tools.
The only amendment I would make would be forum related.
The green arrow should show more than the last 30 posts a person has made because many forum users have very short memories. |

It's not that bad really just needs a little updating.
More filters in searches and a better platform for advertising socials, parties, meets etc.
A create a group chat option would be handy too for the above, once organised just add or remove profiles! |

Overall I like the low tech system they have going. It looks and feels a little dated, but at the end of the day it's fast, has little downtime, plus it is (I'd imagine) cheap to run, which keeps pricing low for users. It's a system that works. I WOULD like to see a basic app though rather than just a website, but I know that would be costly to develop and maintain and keeping the pricing down is probably more important. |

I would like to be able to do specific searches like “bbc” for example
I would also love a like button on the forum or even the status updates, some people post hilarious status updates and I’d like to be able to acknowledge that! |

I would prefer a few extra search criteria and for it to work both ways, so if they match my criteria but I don’t match theirs then they wouldn’t show up on my search. Other than that it’s grand. |

Be able to hide when you are online.
Be able to click on a profile and then click onto your previous messages with that profile instead of scrolling back searching
Better search facilities- men- height range- likes etc
Be able to “like” comments in the forums |

But only OP posts from people you have blocked. If you couldn’t see their replies to other threads, they could start getting very confusing. They also should be blocked from replying to your own posts and from replying directly to you. |

It lets u delete that post for five mins after posting, I usualy reply to my own post edit my mistake or adjust the tone then repost and delete the first post "

But only OP posts from people you have blocked. If you couldn’t see their replies to other threads, they could start getting very confusing. They also should be blocked from replying to your own posts and from replying directly to you. "
There is a rule of the forum that you dont use it to circumvent a block
Only thing is so many have me blocked I dont know who i can reply to so yea may be a warning this person has you blocked do u really want to reply to their post  |

There should be red and green button for profiles ,for me the veri process is a bit flawed as it only gives good reviews , how do we know those veri aren't from burner accounts, so a red button if someone is misbehaving should be allowed and the reason why can be given but only seen by the mods, the green button can be for a good review too. A profile should be given a 3 shots your banned rules whereas if a profile gets 3 red button from different regions he or she or they get banned from fab. Only reason I think this is needed far too many fakes on here. |

Your one of the lucky ones here so we been here over a yr lost count the amount of fake accounts we have had engaged with, you need to share your secret. |

Fake profiles are really easy to spot and avoid.

If the search criteria could include an option for minimum number of photos and max time since last photo AND min number of verifications and max duration since last verification by meeting.
Nothing worse than seeing a profile match that initially excites only to see that the most recent pic is from 2016 and all three veris are by webcam five years ago. |

I would love if Forum threads had more ways of filtering.
EG...
A location for thread's you started separate to threads you posted to.
I often thought I would love to follow the posts of some and not others.....so searching for this would be cool.
However it could lead to stalking complications...so would need to Be restricted to those not blocked by an individual. |

Agreed.
I feel like image tags could be obligatory and profile search could include/excludes those tags.
I'd love to be able to exclude gratuitous vag close ups in search. |

It would be great to have a second location for visiting that covers travel abroad or on holiday. People get round it in various ways with headings etc....but
An example would be if I live in Ireland mainly but holiday in Spain, being able to put a travel destination down not just on a forum but on the profile would mean that you would come up in searches easier. |
