I've just had a fantastic frozen weekend in the Nordics, and had a sauna flowed by frozen lake swimming.
When you get out of the cold water, you do walk with a brisk pace back to the warmth of the saunas! |

Go to some naturist swims run by The INA every month and some unofficial nude beaches with them during the summer when the rain is warmer
No interest in going into the Irish Sea ....too feckin cold so leave that to the foreign holidays |

My very first veri was from one of the swims
8 people in a jacuzzi and 7 of us on fab ....the 8th person hadn't a clue what we were whispering about  |

Love to skinny dip any time of year.
There's less on show at this time of year
It's funny when there's two strangers on a little secluded beach, each trying to figure out if they can drop the togs and sprint for the water without offending the other

Not wild about beaches or sea swimming... more into nudist spas with seven kinds of sauna, Turkish bath, ice bath, ice showers, nude swimming, jacuzzi, etc.
Tried Cap d'Agde. Like a meat market. I'm not into the swinging aspect of places like Las Islas Canarias or whatever but the health aspect of a nice swim, followed by several hours in adult only nude spa...
Best place for that? Germany. And Czech Republic. But the big winner is the Oberlaa spa in Vienna. Yeah, you need a swimsuit for the outdoor ground level pools but once you've reached the naturist section it's 100% worth it.

I open water swim daily all year round.
I only ever bother with togs if there are others around, so obviously at times by the time I get back to shore people may have appeared.
To be honest I have never once had a negative comment. If there were kids I would wait a certain amount of time until they had moved on. |
