What turns you on besides looks?.
For example I recently discovered while talking to someone that open and clear communication is very attractive to me and even turns me on with the right person.
This came as a surprise to me because it's usually boobs. |

That's what i was going to say as well! Openness is quite attractive in contrast with a guy who tells you nothing in order to keep the upper hand.
Integrity is also very attractive, someone who will do the right thing regardless of the consequences to themselves.
Some might question the relevance in the swinging world, but when you've been subjected to the opposite, you realise that these traits still matter to you.

Isn't trust an outcome rather than a trait? I think we're in agreement on the integrity thing. Isn't that why you trust them? We trust the people we know will do the right thing by us every time  |

The way I'm looking at it is someone placing their trust in me as a turn on.
Trusting me with them and their bodies.
Yes that involves integrity but I'm not looking at it as an outcome. |

Attitude has always been a turn on for me. Confidence, fiestiness but calm, self belief, respect, intelligence. These are some of the turn ons for me, there are more but you it gives the idea. Take all this away and no matter how gorgeous a woman looks, I struggle to interact. |

Good thread. Very relevant to us, and we’d agree on the importance of all the personality traits mentioned in above posts. We’ve often discussed after a social meet how we weren’t so keen when a couple walked in, but we were ready to jump them after an hour chatting. |

I was thinking a careful blend of humility and reality.
The hotwife and cuckold folks are enjoying the fun mental dynamic that exists between them. Single male friends are clearly ten a penny and just because you're (single guy) is fortunate enough to meet the selection criteria, it's just a little fun.

I'm a total sapiophile so if a woman is very intelligent and educated it really gets me going. Like a total expert in a subject I've never heard of  Or a woman who can do a cryptic crossword with ease (which for the life of me I can't)
In the same vein somebody really talented at something. From music to ceramics or jigsaws or rubix cubes or sudoku, hulahooping, anything really that's a genuine high level of ability outside the north |

Kindness.
Someone who takes joy in the simple things like baking scones.
Someone who actually listens to you and not just waits for their turn to speak.
Now if a woman told me what her favourite Friday The 13th movie was and exactly why its the best I think I would melt. |

Confidence & charisma - I’m like a moth to a flame. Add in a positive outlook, happy face and ability to take the piss out of me and make me laugh then I’m weak at the knees. The false flattery on here is absolutely wasted on me, I don’t like compliments from people I don’t know and have never met in real life |
