The Lansdowne Hotel in Belfast does the best breakfast in hotels I normally stay in
Sausages,Bacon,Black and white pudding,two runny fried eggs,mushrooms,soda bread,potato farls,unlimited tea and toast
But the best thing is the company I have for breakfast there every time |

Liberty Grill in Cork is delish. Lovely fresh local ingredients.
I also love me a hotel buffet pileon brekkie , but they tend to be the cheapest of the cheap 30% pork sausage type deals, but are fun for those long lazy night after debauchery mornings. |

I may have to jet over to Cork while I'm back. I miss that place. |

I’ll second the Liberty Grill in Cork, it’s very good. I was in Bantry for a night back in November and we went to a place the following morning for breakfast and it was delicious too, had these Mexican bean dish and it was the perfect hangover cure.
Finnegans is a regular haunt after the RVC socials too, they never disappoint |

"Tony's Bistro, Cork.
Wow I remember going there so many times..... What a pure Cork gaff.
Made me feel good just to hear it mentioned... Presumably still going! "
Yep, it sure is. I had brekkie there two weeks ago with a very special fab lady. |

"North South Tralee.. Do a 22e deal for 2... Breakfast is unreal.. Absolutely hate hotel breakfasts.. Ones with the greasy sausages and dried out rashers. "
Some hotels cook it fresh and its absolutely gorgeous
Worst thing about the hotel breakfast......the scrambled eggs absolutely disgusting unless made fresh |

Amazing that they can't cook rashers properly |

If I have a free day with no kids or responsibilities, I'll have a few beers for breakfast, awesome start to a super Saturday of sports on the tv. Unfortunately I think I've had three of these in my lifetime, but we can all dream. |

Yes agreed if cooked properly and fresh, but more often than not, its self service... I often question how they get away with it. Charging 22e for pure slop.
