"From the lounge
I must say I do like Somebody That I Used to Know by Gotye feat kimbra
It’s all from his perspective then she has a brief part where she exposes his gaslighting "
I heard this only a few weeks ago with just isolated vocals and no music. It was the first time it registered with me what the song was actually about. Incredible really, I underrated it.
I really loved Blind Melon - No Rain |

You Get What You Give by the New Radicals, sometime in the 90’s I know they released other stuff but I think they only had 1 hit. Give it a listen it’s a good tune

"Joe Dolce...shaddup your face. Think it kept George Michael off No 1. Open to correction on that"
I think it kept Ultravox off number one with their huge hit Vienna. Which sadly meant they never hit number one. |

that was the first song that came to my mind as well.. |

GOLD! It pops up on my playlists every so often when I'm driving and it's an instant 'this is so shit' smile and sing along like a deranged lunatic

You should have a listen to ‘Change’ from them so, such a good tune!
It was huge loss when the singer did a Kurt Cobain, they were just hitting the big time.
I was a massive fan |

"“ Sweet disposition” Temper Trap and it’s kind of hard to beat “The One and Only” Chesney Hawkes
Ella "
Ahh love a bit of Chesney...
Tilted by Christine and the Queens was a great song
I'm just trying not to RickRoll this thread on one hit wonders |

Not sure of the musical knowledge or maybe you just missed the others songs by the artists that also charted but a lot of musicians/ bands above were not OHW (means One Hit Wonders for those seemingly unsure)
I mean Oasis a OHW FFS? |

The album, 'Maybe you've been brainwashed too' that the single is from is pretty good. You should listen to it if you haven't already. |

Plus the singer and main songwriter has written loads of songs for or with other artists since. He has a very recognisable style. |

"N trance set you free is a brilliant one hit wonder
Possibly the happiest tune ever
Also nomad devotion "
N-Trance had loads of hits! Shake Ya Body and their cover of Staying Alive were bigger hits then Set You Free. And great songs to dance to! |
