The little few fab friends I made up so far when I go to mail there profile is hidden is it that bad here am I bad lol is it others I presume. For example I'm pretty sure some of these mails I'm getting are guys really.what other sites pm please |

I might regularly log out of Fab for extended periods so hide it. I can't be found then in search function so will only get messages if people click on my comments in forums or were my friends or people I was chatting to. Just saves me hassle of coming back to load of unread new messages. |

You can still message a hidden profile, the link to the message link still shows.
But yeah, they probably don't want you to if they have hidden their profile. |

We do it when people are sending a lot of annoying messages. Gives us a time out and time to reset. Or sometimes ppl want a break from the site so hidding best way to do it. Or when I was single was best way to look for what I wanted without getting 100s of messages

Not necessarily. They've most likely (but not explicitly) hidden their profile because they are mitigating the influx of new messages from strangers, or unsolicited winks or friend requests.
•Friends• are mostly amenable to receiving messages between each other. They would tell you otherwise. |

Oh you have hit the nail on the head, they often ask why they can’t get a meet, but if you look there profile screams middle aged, straight on profile and can’t accom but can meet daytime mid week lol they also message men the same |

We hid our profile recently enough. Fab is meant to be a fun place but unfortunately many think it's ok to play games or waste people's time so we had enough of it. Needed a short break but back now with a zero tolerance approach. |

My profile is normally hidden. I have met many wonderful people through Fab and I continue to meet them, but just have very little time to meet anyone new.
I am happy to chat to new friends, but I feel it is unfair to them if their chances of being intimate with me are very slim. |

A new one for us has been people winking, but when you go to their profile it’s hidden. Huh?
Also… can hidden profiles still browse? We get those too in our looked at you tab. Doesn’t seem like that would be playing fair. |
