What are your fave places to visit anywhere on the island of Ireland?

So, we are sociable, fun, and adventurous, love culture, landscape and cityscapes. We have tacky, cheesy and the made for tourists market (unless it’s a rollercoaster )

Where should we go, for how long and what is is that stole your heart?

Athlone

I've just spent 3 nights in Dublin. Stayed by Christchurch and had a fantastic time.

Caught a lunchtime play in Bewley's Theatre.

Visited The Book of Kells.

Saw a film on The IFI.

Attended a couple of Tradfest gigs in Dublin Castle.

Visited Christchurch Cathedral.

Had a cinnamon bun in Bread 41!

Had fish and chips from Leo Burdocks.

Had a gander around a few charity shops.

So much to do, so little time.
