So he's running out of energy and packing it in at the end of the season.

Where does he rank with Shankly, Paisley, Daglish etc with Reds fans?

Not a hope, we couldn't afford him, I'd say it will be Roy Keane or Robbie Keane.

Pep couldn't do it, Arteta couldn't do it, ETH couldn't do it, Tuchel couldn't do it but it only took 4 months for Ange to send Jurgen running for the hills!

Where the Streets Have No Name

Very difficult to replace him with a 'like for like.'

He's a top coach, a leader and an ambassador.

Very difficult to know if the next man will have a similar connection with the players, the staff, the City, the gobal support.

We've had a great run over the past number of years, with an incredible custodian at the helm. I'm very grateful to him for the memories, & can only wish his successor the very best.

i wish he would be the next england manager then we might have a chance of playing some football that does not send 70% of the supporters to sleep with boring side to side passes and get no where,,

South Dublin Area

Hes an absolute legend. What hes done for that club and success hes had in the current climate considering what Citys riches have allowed them to do. (And cheat obviously).

Hes currently in the middle of what looks like the construction of another very good team, so the timing seems very odd.

Rumors of a fallout with FSG seem about right.

He’s gonna replace Eric ten hag. He’s a mercenary who will go to who ever pays him the most. He has as many English premier league titles as David May.

Couldn’t agree more … apparently there’s a fall out with. FGS… timing doesn’t seem right … as you quite correctly say he’s in the middle (very early stages) of rebuilding a very good team .. seems a bit strange to walk one season into that .. brilliant manager who brought the success and more importantly the respect back to the club that it was crying out for ..

BIG SHOES TO FILL

Rumors of a fallout with FSG seem about right.

Beat Barcelona from 3-0 down in the semi final though! Won a league title in the era of a team about to be relegated for financial doping. Probably would have won at least 2 more if on a level playing field.

Lisbon/ North England/ Wales/ Madrid/

I am still afflicted, I am just expecting LVP can complete a great 23/24 season and this won’t impact on the performance.

I was following Jurgen since his Borussia’s times and this guy is different, his football is as he is, that’s rock & Klopp shocks … pure Heavy Metal football !!!

He will be missed.

Hopefully Xabi can sign off next season, otherwise maybe De Zerbi … but it will never be the same.

Had many trophyless seasons but still an excellent manager who changed Liverpool. Seems a decent person to but I don’t believe in any of this shite some go on with, “it’s like a family bereavement “. What codswallop.
