Straight Razors (cut throats)

Have been using straight razors and the ones with the disposable blade type the use in the Turkish barbers for years now. Anyone else use them and isn't it a more satisfying shave. (Now still have a beard, but use the razor to shave the neckline , sculpt the cheek line and edge the sideburn line)

Could never justify the cost for a decent straight razor but have been using a double edge razor (1950s Gillette superspeed) for about 15 years now.

Really close shave and it's very rare I cut myself. Million times better then any modern multi blade razor and a fraction of the cost

Not straight but we both switched to double edged razors a couple years ago. So much better in every way. Cheaper, less plastic and much gentler on the skin!

Love the cut throat, gives a really sharp cheekline to the beard once ya get the hang of it, not been brave enough to try shaving my head with it just yet tho
