are there any morning/afternoon social events for meeting Men and Women

Happy New Year all. Just wondering if anyone knows of any Social events being held around the Dublin City or County area in the mornings or afternoons where I might possibly meet some nice decent people(Men & Women)? I Wouldn't go near Dublin City in the late evening or especially at night. Have done it a few times, heart in my mouth 'til I got safely back into my car. Sad, but that's the way Dublin City has gone now.

Anyway, if you have any info to my question, I would really appreciate a message or a general reply in the forum. Thanks.

That is not my experience of the city center at all. But I work there, so am in it every day so I don’t find it daunting. It’s a shame you feel that way.

In regards to your question, unfortunately I can’t help.

OP your profile also mentions that you prefer morning meets.

Are you really afraid to go out at night? Everywhere?

It's not that bad. Certainly not worse than many European capitals for a night out. We always go out in town when we are in Dublin and have never been involved in any trouble. Anyhoo there have been many daytime meetups and if anyone can't find one that suits then why not organise one!

Don't agree at all about Dublin. It's a great City 99% of the time and 99% of the people. Had a great weekend there recently and never saw a bit of trouble.
