True. I was with a small shy polish quiet lady before she spoke but not much but when she got comfortable with me - wow what an animal to go - needed a new set of lungs lol.
Some things that helped personally to remain calm:
Drink. Before and during meeting.
Ashwuganda 500mg before event.
Meditation. 10mins three times a day.
Medicine. Prescribed.
After I got familiar with my surroundings and the people in it i eliminated nearly all those things bit by bit as the confidence grew. Some people are people persons, some are not. We all gifted in unique ways.

I love this thread I'm so shy it's not funny, I've canceled so many meets only for a cuppa or a verify, I'm not sure what's wrong with me.. that's the truth, I just get so nervous.. and I'm so sorry those I've canceled on |

I'd say I can be quite shy right up until just after the initial interaction. After that I lose all inhibitions.
But I do seem to have a problem making the first contact so would love to hear from any women or couples who recognise this in themselves possibly |

This thread has been here for 5 days now and I have often opened it up only to close it straight away
I am shy and really hate writing about myself. Nearly makes me sick sometimes and that is why my profile write up is crap. My mind says 1 thing but my fingers type something else because I am so nervous
Guess it's easier to hide behind the screen
On the other hand I find it much easier to sit down and chat with someone
I enjoy the threads on the forum.
The people are so humourous and sharp witted which makes it so enjoyable.
Post some of my own threads and got shot down on some of them but I think that happens to everyone. We learn something new everyday.
Enjoy putting posts on the threads even though I still mess up ( my apologies
) because I am nervous and have never met these people
O.P. Thank you for giving us a small space on this huge platform
