And old Kate Winslet came on that ship for 2 whole days, dick teasing the whole crew the Heart of the Ocean with her endless Titanic story, to not even tell them what happened to it and for her then to just sneak out in the middle of the night and throw the necklace overboard.

Absolutely heartbreaking ending. Cal got a lucky escape from that monster

+1 for Requiem for a Dream. I don’t think i could watch it a second time.

Not a film, but honorable mention that episode of Futurama, when Fry has a chance to bring his dog from the past to the future but eventually decides against it thinking the dog lived a happy live. And the final seen cuts to the dog waiting loyally outside the pizzeria for Fry to return through the seasons slowly growing older…

The best book I’ve ever read. Unfortunately I’ve yet to see a film version that lives up to the book or at least my perception/imagination. I did it for both inter and leaving certs. Studied it ad infinitum and still love it to this day.
