Just wondering if anyone has tried any of these new miracle cures for snoring. The only solution we find that really allows vot of us a,proper night sleep is separate rooms . But let's face it that's not the ideal solution either. Tennis balls on the back of a tee shirt or pj's don't work for me . Doing throat exercises helps a bit but doesn't stop it and I am not over weight either. |

The only one I know that works is a cpap machine
My son has one over a year and now sleeps like a baby and stays awake during the day
I tried it but felt like I had an alien stuck on my face and gave it back |

Not quite sure if you are allowed to post links so look up Musicozy sleep headphones on Amazon.
You then play some white noise through them via your phone and it will drown out most noises |

Forget all miracle cures or home remedies. Most of the anti snoring gadgets you see are just snake oil or worst case mask the actual issue.
We have been through this for years and tried so many things and what was needed for me was a visit to the GP / referral to a specialist for sleep apnea and a cpap. After years and years of heavy snoring the whole thing was fully under control within a few days of getting the machine. There are different types of masks as well, from full face to mouth/nose to small nose pillows so you can still make this comfortable. I needed 3 or 4 days to get used to it.
My only regret is not getting it checked out years earlier.

I had a phase of serious snoring during a period of weight gain and it was very hard on my last relationship.
I bought a set of Loop earplugs and it saved our relationship. They are designed for this purpose.
I cannot overstate how much they helped.
The model is Loop Quiet.

This topic has caused me a lifetime of angst. Apparently when I was born, my mum could define me from the other babies coz of my little snore However as I grew, so did my snore .
An ex of mine made a massive deal of it which led me to a specialist sleep clinc.
I took all of their tests, machines etc, only to find that I was born with a slight mal- alignment of my jaw ergo the snore. So short of having my jaw broken and reset by milimetres, my snore continues
Snoring is not always about breathing, weight, alchol etc, it could just be part of your genetic makeup |

Polyps sometimes grow in the body which obstruct airflow. Suppose find the root cause. Trim bodyfat but sometimes even super lean people experience it.
Cpap machine. Or a mandibular device (a special mouth guard custom made the pulls and widens lower jaw forward during sleep - heard exceptional reports about them as some people can’t use those cpap machines)
Hope this helps. |

"One of my friends buys sticky tape in boots and tapes her mouth closed at night! She reckons it works a treat. "
That is an incredibly dangerous thing to do unless under close supervision! |

I'd be inclined to agree and have voiced that to her too... |
