I wouldn't say I'm too liked by the forum vets, a bit liked by others. Not that I give it that much attention.

Dip in and out. Used to be a more regular contributor but alas time is an issue. Are we liked? Don't know to be honest. Are there people who dislike us? Yes and to be honest we don't like some people either. Do we care? No. |

I dip in and out of here.
I post here and there but not as much as I use to. I don't get the impression I'm particularly liked or disliked I think I'm just lost in middle ground which is grand,but I do think there are a few who roll their eyes when they see me posting on here.  |

Some people like me, some people don’t and that’s ok with me since I feel the same way.
I go through phases of being a regular contributor and sometimes having to step back in case my eyes roll out of my head. |

I sort of get the ‘don’t care what others think’ thing.
Although it requires a load of evolution because we are programmed to be in groups so caring what others think is innate.
But we do advise newbies to go on the forum to meet people , presumably to impress them , presumably so they can ‘succeed’ on the site .
I wouldn’t want to be generally thought of as an eejit. I ideally wouldn’t want seeking a non eejit status to lead to me behaving inauthentically . And I know that a some won’t like me no matter what . But the fuck what others think thing isn’t me . Not really . Deep inside . If I am honest .

I think I am way too new here for people to have an opinion (they do even after one post) but I would like to think they think I am genuine (something that cannot be measured by just saying so) and try to sprinkle in a bit of lols.
My fear is I post too much and I become an annoyance. Hopefully not. Just my 2 cents. Happy to have a dm/pm to calm it down.

I only post on the funny,jokey or lighthearted threads because I couldn't be arsed getting into a debate with a complete stranger on the internet! Life is too short to be dealing with shite! I don't post very often and what people think of me is their business. Obviously it's nice to be liked but if I go unnoticed it genuinely doesn't bother me!! And as for people not liking me? Genuinely feel affection for plenty of folks on the forums.. sure there are the occasional wtf moments but all in all it's brilliant to hear how other people live and think

Yeah I think caveman comes across as sound
I was intrigued why he was annoyed with the cork gang bang bulls or whatever the profile is but I think it’s easy to come across on the forum like you’re trying to alpha male other blokes I guess and maybe that’s why he got annoyed

I would say I'm too early here for people to notice me or see a pattern. I'd say generally not noticed.
I definitely only dip in and out as I don't know how people get the time!
Don't court attention and like another poster mentioned sometimes I get paranoid if there are long spells after I post or the thread ends   |

I think I come across as fair and measured, with the odd moment of exasperation. Probably too impassioned about subjects close to my heart. Occasionally a bit of a dry shite when my tolerance levels are low.
I'm not interested in being all things to all people so I'm kind of in the "take me as you find me" camp |

I'm not sure am I liked by people that are on the forum. I do know that more than likely that there's people that don't like me.
I'm try to watch my interactions on the forum anymore. As a person can come across completely different then who or what they actually are & also I/you can wreck people's heads by posting to much on the forum, be that by actually threads or posting on threads.
At the start alright I'd be worried about what people thought of me on the forum. Now I'm the thinking "Quiet frankly my dear, I couldn't give a dam". They have the right to think like that, so if they don't like me, that's their problem, not mine. I'm trying to be me, for me, not for them.

When I first arrived on the Fab forums, I put a lot of time and consideration into each post so as not to offend or receive any negative comments, only to be ridiculed by a small clique of people who took exception to anything I seemed to post then. Not a nice experience to be called "unhinged" btw but that's what happened
Anyway, decided then I could either leave FAB or grow a pair so I decided to use my greatest strength (sarcasm! ) call them out and put them on the back foot and see how they liked it. Worked a treat! 
Since then, am a cheeky fecker on the forums (and will not offend anyone personally) but could care less if I'm liked or hated or if I post a thread and 0 or 100 people reply.
(Who knows, maybe that's an age thing? but liberating nonetheless)  
So, I guess I like to vent or inject a few fun topics here to you frivolously funny, fornicating fabulous Feckers just for a good chat, banter and nothing else. Honest

I really enjoy the craic on the forums, I contribute where I can usually tongue in cheek. Similar to Panther, home and work take over every few weeks and I lose touch with people. |

Oh who knows if we’re (mainly Mrs in forums) liked or not. We just dip our toe in and out of forums if we fancy a distraction is all. We’re not a big contributor

Doesn’t bother me what people thinks of me. It used to. I used to want people to like me. But life fucked me over so now I’m more into liking myself for who I am. People judge a lot from the distance. I get that. I’d rather be someone’s shot of whiskey rather than everyone’s cup of tea |

I'm pretty sure the more someone posts the more they will be noticed, common sense.
As for what anyone thinks of you , sure that's their problem.
Aren't we all here to get a little bit wet, how and who you choose to do it with is only your business.

"I was recently bed (couch) ridden for over a month. I was in all likely hood a plague on the forum.
I'm trying to reduce my word count but it sure can be a habit.
I quite like your posts they are helpful, encouraging, genuine and most of all…. kind.
I’m relatively new to the forums section of fab but contribute when a topic grabs my attention. I post when I come up with something somewhat novel and with a light hearted twist for a few laughs. I do appreciate those who take the time to respond to my threads/posts and for the reply’s.

It's quite easy to have a go in the forum and targeting people who are here and active on the scene and who make interesting and positive contributions both in the forum and in real life... and perhaps those who are only forum warriors and have no intention of actually attending anything in real life are often the ones who are making trouble in the forum. |

On a more serious note. I enjoy the forums. Covers such a wide variety of topics and opinions. If I get a chance to lmao.. All the better. Great meeting people behind the posts. Im yet to be disappointed with the "real" people that I was lucky to meet from here. |
