"If someone from the 90's woke up in 2023, what would surprise them most?
Probably the fact that they were asleep for over 23 years, that's Kinda rare... "

Internet has exploded
Tinder
Cashless (ish) society
How much more diverse (Irish) society is now.
Adults relying on electric scooters etc as sensible daily transport options.
The acceptable switcheyness of gender identification.
The multitude of sexual orientation classifications.
The growing number of available milfs.... Lols and dilfs. |

Wasn't the 90s the most peaceful decade in modern history? I'm was too young to have been following news at that time.
But I'd say they'd be suprised that we decided to back to blowing the fuck our of ourselves and commiting war crimes willy nilly against each other. |

Bosnian war was in the 90’s pretty grim as I recall. Man has an amazing ability to do unbelievable cruel and evil acts towards each other |

Definitely the advancement of the mobile phone and the internet. Technology in general has come a lot way since then. The creation of social media would be a shock as well I'd say. Debit cards just having to tap as well as the actual higher use of them in general. Also likely wonder where the punt went and what's this monopoly money we use now |

I read an interview with a prisoner who was released after about 20 years.
The answer was smart phones. He couldn't get his head around them and it completely melted his brain that people would look at them while walking around and not bump into each other |
