I agree in a sense, but it’s also how I spot people of interest because there’s no one that close to me, maybe one or two |

Same happens for me. Kinda helps gauge distance of travel if I do end up chatting to someone from it. If someone close to me was on it I’d hope mutual discretion would be given but you never know |
