Help with photos

Hi folks, first post here. No pics on my profile. Reason being any pic I try looks like Stevie Wonder took it. Looking for help. Anybody know of photographer or amateur that helps with this type of photo graphy. Trying my best to make a silk purse out of a sows ear.

Use the timer on your phone OP and get some ideas on what kind of photos you would like to have. You will end up taking a few before you find one you like. Just stay away from the lynx can and the toilet and ul be grand

Day rates for pro photographers are pretty high.

Look at other guys photos for a bit of inspiration.

B&W photos are very forgiving

Cropping photos is a gift from god.

Play around with some filters. A nice B&W one can turn a dull photo into a really nice one.

Make use of the cropping tool, it can make such a difference.

Try out different angles if your go to angle isn't working.

And have a look at other profiles for inspiration.

Do you have a large mirror that's not in the bathroom? Great, take a few photos and get a friend you can trust to judge them. Doesn't have to be fully naked, or naked at all. You just wanna show off your physique.

Take a shower, try a few pics, dress nicely, take a few more. Get snapping.

Nice underwear. Towel around the waist, anything us better than nothing.

If you take a video posing and then pause and screenshot it, it works really well

naas which is South West of Dublin

Tesco, Dealz, EuroGiant etc. often have little light rings with a phone holder and a Bluetooth camera activator on a tripod, relatively inexpensive and will make things easier.

Variety of angles, b&w, contract etc., and an auld hotdog pic never goes astray….
