Watching the support at the rugby Saturday night, the aftermath in the stadium, zombie ringing around aswell as fields of athenry, the Irish are some fans. We are the same in all sporting encounters and loved everywhere. This is a thread to appreciate and be proud of been Irish |

Jack Charlton used to tell a story about Irish fans at Italia 90.
Irish Dutch and English fans were all segregated even outside some grounds in fenced off areas.
The English and Dutch tried pulling the fencing down or climbing over it while the Irish thought it was hilarious to Baaa in unison like sheep.
Completely disarmed the Italian police and put everyone at ease. |

No matter where the Irish fans go they carry themselves so well. Wasn't it in the European soccer championships in France that the fans got a commendation for how well they behaved and how much fun they were. We were in Poland for the 2012 tournament and the craic was something we'll never forget. |
