The caragories on fab like any other app are useful but I think limited.
There are women on here who have themselves classed as curvy, and to me they look normal, others who class themselves as normal and to me they look curvy.
Myself I think I am thin, but I have been told I look athletic.
Really how useful are the categories except as on the extremes.
And much of the self catagorization is down to a individuals feelings.
Would fab be better with or without the catagory on size? |

Its all perception and labels.
Is there a need for them? Hard to say I guess depends what the person is looking for. Like most other sites where you are ousting yourself out to be seen there's the option to pick a label.
I'm curvy, I have fat, I'm strong.
What's athletic to one isn't the same to another, just like curvy isn't or fat or skinny.
Unfortunately we are judged by our size whether we like it or not |

I said I really like fat women and got destroyed but I didn’t mean it as an insult but as the type of body I like.
Simone says curvy and they are beautiful but not the shape I like |

agreed! I’m curvy (18-20) but hide it well lol!
Size is a perception and these differ for everyone.
I’m a chunky monkey but I don’t care any more. Others do, so when initially chatting, I will say it - I don’t want any awkwardness when actually meeting |

People can categorise themselves however they want,I don't think it really matters because there is always someone who is happy to point out they think you are wrong no matter what you choose on here.
It probably would be better if they were done away with on here but I can't see that ever happening . |

Far far away |
We can do do much with photos that can hide the true person. No one wants to see my rolls on a bad day. I tell ppl I m curvy so they know what theyre getting.
I think that's why innately Im attracted to big man mountains so l look smaller... Go figure |

Curvy is by far the most desirable of womens body types this stems from the era of Marylyn Monroe, then Pamela Anderson(do you remember the cola bottle modeled on her?) and more recently Kim Kardashian and Christine Hendricks.
Sadly a lot of people are like the river in Africa on here |

"I don’t think normal should be a category.
Yeah that's quite offensive actually
There's no normal category, what's normal these days....there's average though, that's probably what you mean."
Ahh yes just checked. I've no issue with "average". I still think it's better to have custom descriptions |

I'm fat and - go figure - also fit the definition of curvy in terms of the waist/hips & bust ratio.
If there was a fat option I'd choose it however I plumped (no pun intended) for ample here.
There are more than enough who think they're the arbiters of body size & shape and will criticise regardless, so there's little point worrying about it when you'll inevitably be wrong in someone's eyes.
My body size & shape is plenty obvious from my photos for anyone who doubts the descriptor I've chosen and fears I might be either misleading them or in denial. |

I ticked the athletic box despite never having run the length of myself or not being in a gym in years.
I find the word average demeaning so decided I would never use it to refer to myself ever again.
Wouldn't really bother me one way or the other if the categories were changed or amended. |

I'm fat, and would choose that option if it was available.
Its like I'm on a one woman mission to destigmatise that word. It's simply descriptive just as tall, small, blonde etc is.
Shame there's been such a negative connotation attached to it over the years.
When men say they like curves, I simply tell them we're talking rolls here. More rolls than a bread shop |

Now I know what to get you for your birthday......A naughty step comfie cushion.
I know you will get lots of use out of it.
Go Lou, tell it as you see it.
Enough simpering suckups on here. |

"Thin doesn’t mean athletic, you could be thin from smoking 80 a day and not from athletic exercise
"
Aha... Very funny.... Luckily I don't smoke so that's not why and yeah I am athletic and still play football not just fab games....
So my point about the labels being limited was made. |
