It's not easy starting off OP, that's true.
Have you tried the "Help a Faber" thread on here?
Interact on here, helps aswell. There's plenty of socials for you to go to between Cavan & Dublin, for unverified Fabers to get verified. There's a thread on here with people in Monaghan & Louth, thinking of setting up a social in that area aswell.
No harm to have a few pictures of yourself on public display OP, for people to see & get a feel for you(so to speak). As nobody or not to many, like talking to a salute profile OP. They'll help you out in the long run OP.
