Oh I'd rather scoop my own eyes out than go in there. But if I was 26 and wanted a night out chatting up everyone around me and general carousingb that's where they are at.
The Roisin is better and you'll find a bit more culture and edged in there. Also dancing.
Depends on what you are into OP?
Chats over pints? All the pubs listed above are ones you want to try.
Debauchery. Hang outside supermacs at about 2am |

I suppose, im just getting old!..
The last time we were in town, the one pub that was wall to wall with women, (mainly on hens) was 1520.
Usually decent live music in there also! |

Live music on the weekends too, rock bands... ya might get the odd Headbanger in there too but hey, that's all good too! Very impressive mural on the gable end of Sally's! Sally's is probably the most genuine Galway pub there is really, that and Fibber Magee's ! Fucking hate Buskers! Grrr |

The Dean is class. And a classy date.
I wouldn't frequent any bar owned by Galway bay brewery.
They just fired the most accomplished brewer in the whole country and if he leaves Ireland I will never forgive them. |
