I've had to painstakingly Google a few TLA's recently that I read on forum comments and profiles.
Those I Googled and the result:
ONS = one night stand
gsh = good sense of humour (normally a 4-letter acronym)
smh = scratching my head
UNLOS = United Nations Law of the Sea
For those who habitually use them, does it mean that you're also lazy in bed? Should you be avoided at all costs?

Smh was one I always wondered about but was too lazy to google…what does that say about me
I thought I saw it used in a very millennial “so much hate” way but scratching my head makes more sense in most contexts. |

"I'm actually incredibly efficient rather than lazy.
For example if I shout FMH! That's the cue to fuck me harder.
There's also KMN - Kiss Me Now
And the old classic DYLA - Do You Like Anal
"
Very risky Acronyms due to double meaning
Finger me Hole FMH
Kick my Nuts KMN
Diet you Lard Arse DYLA |

People can get themselves in hot water using them. It's hard enough trying to assess HOW a person is saying something (when no emojis are used) but now we have to assess WTF they're saying as well |

My comprehensive knowledge of initialism comes from the Lonely Hearts section of Irelands Own:
wltm = would love to meet
gsof = good sense of humour
cw = country and western music
ns = non smoker
sd = social drinker
ala = all letters answered |

Yeah I hadn’t a clue what SMH meant
I don’t use acronyms but I am incredibly lazy in bed.
I just lie there like a dead dog and let women have their wicked way with me |

I get these daily from my teenager
kk - ok
ik - I know
idk - I don't know
gtg - gotta go
brb - be right back
mb - my bad
It's not unusual to get

Also 'oh' is a complete sentence full of nuance

Some of them I know other's I don't. So they could go over my, not before they give me a headache trying figure them out. Eitherway I couldn't be arsed to look them up on Google.
Personally I'd roder to just spit it out. Even if that's in a round the house & mind the dresser, type of way. |
