Crazy isn't it!

I've finally finished my kitchen project so I'm happy to have achieved that if little else.

Living room next. I'm tempted to push it back to Spring but it's a pretty big job and I think I just need to get stuck in now

Where did the year go! Think it’s because summer wasn’t great.

We’ve explored lots of kinky and vanilla things this year so far. We’ve a bit of a vanilla month and a half ahead of us but looking forward to what the rest of the year might bring

I’ve achieved being a fabulous fucker

I haven’t achieved getting verified yet

I think time flies now because nearly all businesses are open seven days a week, a lot of people work shifts and every day just seems to roll into each other. Despite what everyone thought of Covid, it did bring a slowing down of time and life and we seemed to have a lot of time to stop and look around.

It feels like new years was only a few weeks ago.

Work wise it’s been great so far, was lucky enjoy to be able to change the van last January. Managed to get in cahoots with a new builder and we seem to be on the same page plus all my regular customers to boot.

Had one of those life changing experiences not too long ago that nobody wants but most have to go through. But we’re coming out the other side of it now.

Fab wise, well due to the above I took a good long break and still not fully dived back in yet. Maybe next year now

Somewhere in Co. Down

The year seems on one hand to be flying past so fast and yet in other aspects of my life at a stand still.

This year has been tough and there's been a lot going on on my life outside of fab and some of it has been very tough going at times.

What I've achieved I don't know, maybe to realise that life is precious and good friends and family even more so.

As for holidays nope, none this year and none on the horizon for this year either.

Maybe next year depending on what life springs on me

Fab life has been put on the back burner for the time being and I just really pop in and out of the forums now.

Pretty sure it was only June yesterday though. Have we doubled checked it is September?

Have managed a couple of breaks away which were needed after one of the crappiest years ever.

Losing 3 close family members and a dog in the space of 8 months will have that effect.

Have a trip abroad to look forward to this month but just don't have much enthusiasm for it.

As far as fab is concerned it has been no different than the previous 2 years and I have zero interest in or energy for new meets.

I'm thankful for amazing friends though who are always supportive even when going through their own difficult times.

The Sol

Took a more bee friendly approach to the garden this year and it's paid off. Concentrating on leaving more patches of flowers on the lawn, and encouraging native hedge growth. Lots more bees and butterflies visiting now and they are a joy to watch

The West

Seperated from my fiancé

Resigned from the biggest job of my career

Had my house sold out from under me

Became, in my heart, a good dad and single parent

Found myself as a single whole individual

Started a new career

Made new best friends.

Had my first holiday without kids and family in 20years.

Accepted that I will never truly enjoy cooking or gardening.

Got one step closer to nirvana.
