Anyone here have the unfortunate experience of family finding out that you are swinging ? If so what was the outcome and how did you / they handle it? |

My kids are young but they are being raised in an age appropriate sex positive environment.
I wouldn't do anything I was ashamed of and so it follows I would have no reason to hide it.
And any teenager these days is naturally going to have a broader and more inclusive language to understand sex and sexuality.

At the moment I wouldn’t like it. But once my kids get a bit older and understand things better I’ll likely wear a shirt saying “Bull for cuckolding” or “bull for hot wife”. I’ll be in my 50’s but. So might not look so cool on me. |

My family(G) are all back in Scotland and I rarely speak with them so they don’t know, However most of R’s know and they’re fine with it.
At first they just wanted to know why and what we were doing. We told them why and said anything we did, we can’t discuss other people as not everyone is open or comfortable as us.
Now we get the comments oh I wish I was younger or that I had the confidence to do it and the oh I would be to jealous or scared the other one would run off with someone else. |

No one in our family knows so far but we are still new to it so could always change  .
Mentioned it to some friends and turns out they've walked that path in the past  and now want to be kept updated on our adventures  .
Re our son, we've always talked open about sex with him. He knows we've got toys . We haven't told him about this and don't really intend to but we don't necessarily hide from him either. |

A friend knows but he's a "help you bury the body" type friend.
We belive Mr's have suspicions following a couple of comments made. One blatant comment was "I hope you're not into wife swapping"
But we have our suspicions that they dabbled in the past.
Anyway, we don't shout it from the rooftops but wouldn't be worried if people knew either. Alot of our friends wouldn't be surprised. |

I think if my family found out we were on fab I'd go into shut down mode. Its no ones business what my husband and I do. We are happy and thats all they need to know.Having said that I'd prefer them not to know. |

We had a discreet profile photo published in a tabloid news paper many years ago. Some siblings and friends saw it and recognised us. Not a great experience being honest but it's not been mentioned since. |

Why would you be ashamed? Sure they are doing exactly the same thing!
Obviously, being your parents would be a bit of a shock but the fact that they are open minded enough to be on the scene they might not be too shocked to see you.

I’m that wonderful position of not giving a f**k what anyone thinks..  life is for living and all that. Everyone used the site differently so everyone views it differently. May change my mind when my kids grow older but for now I don’t care who sees me haha |

My family and inner circle know, they are real nosey and love hearing about all the orgys and human sacrifices lol,I wind them up also
However alot of them think socials are a brilliant idea and sound great fun and are even a bit jealous hearing I'm off on a weekend of fun.They don't judge but I don't care either |

Only 1 close friend knows. My family are very very conservative and even lack basic human connection. The judgement would be overwhelming. Grew up in a household of no hugs or kisses ever and sex was shameful.
Conversely I have become a hugely tactile person but its taken a long time to re progranne.

It would suck. Not that's nothing of their business, but it would be a rough couple of meets. But I think that after while everything would be fine, it's not a crime.
I think that they would be more curious than judgmental, most of people are, especially when they are in a long term relationship. |

This island is so small, relatively new to this and already been in chats with persons very close to home
TBH doesn't bother me we all have our reasons for being here !!! Sure if people here are willing to put up naked pics, discuss desires etc with a veiw to a session ?? they should be grown up enough to chat it out with Family if occasion arises, but I shite no I wouldn't bring it up myself !!!! |

Haven’t met relatives yet but we don’t go to many socials. There are a few of them going to weddings all over Ireland lately. They never left Mayo so, who are these people the wedding is for..?
Met loads we know socially at events. Never been an issue when meet them in normal vanilla lives chat away normal without mentioning extra curricular activities xx
Oh and if any of family are here…… Howyas ya dirty beggars. We don’t make our way anywhere as much as you’s lol lol

We aren't doing anything immoral or illegal, so have no issue with anyone finding either of us on fab.
It is EXTREMELY annoying when past colleagues find me here and feel the need to say "oh I wish I knew you were on fab sooner, we could have had so much fun"

Our lad knows we meet other people with bi women, like a bi support group lol. He knows Pinks has been on dates with women too. We have always been sex positive and explained things to him to his maturity level.
Have had people say they know us but don't share face pics themselves. We have our faces on the profile so pretty out there. If anyone recognises us they are free to say hi, we are not ashamed of being in the lifestyle. |

My family are very supportive and although they all are vanilla they do love hearing about my latest exploits they are happy for me as I was married to my childhood boyfriend until the last few years and are glad to see me now finally enjoying life and my freedom. |

Few around me know I’m involved in the lifestyle after I was exposed to my ex wife. But doesn’t bother me. More will know from next spring onwards as I’ve planned to add a few swingers tattoos to my body. I’ve nothing to be ashamed of as anyone I’ve be involved with was well over the age of consent and also give their consent. It’s a lifestyle I’m very proud to be involved in and have made many good friends. There is no or very little judgement involved in this wonderful community and I intend to be a part of it for many many years |
