Ideally if I was meeting someone it would be at a hotel. Can anyone advise any hotel recommendations in Dublin or just give advice in general relating to this?
Is there an etiquette about paying? I assume that bc im the one propositioning a hotel meet that I'm the one paying? |

Ya haven't a chance mate. No one is going to agree to spend a night in a hotel with a single fella they have never met before. |

Did you meet them at the hotel for the first time? |

"Yes met at the bar had a few drinks had some chat then up to the room it very much depends on the person and the vibe that you have with them "
This!!! the ideal version of how it goes. |

Personally I wouldn't agree to a meet at a hotel without meeting socially first, I prefer to meet for a social coffee, no expectations, if there's a mutual attraction will arrange to meet again.
As for paying for room I would always pay my half of room |

If i book the hotel and look for company ill pay, if it's for a pre organised meet id insist paying half of everything including the room it's only fair, usually id meet at the bar, few drinks and chat just see where the night takes you |

If I'm away with work then the hotel is paid for anyway
One thing to watch out for that has happened a few times to men on the forums
They're askdd to book a hotel, they pay for the room and the other person never shows and its too late to cancel.
To be honest if I was new on here I'd only organise a coffee social first when meeting someone
If there's a spark then you can make arrangements to meet again |

It's true I can vouch for that ,I have had many hotel stays ,no one took me up a few time wasters and one no show, forget the hotel not happening. |

Is there not where can go to motel? It’s just rock up there no booking and book room with guest same time. So if the meet does not go ahead not left with a bill that not going to use.

I’d never ask or want the lady to pay half or any of the bill. Never. I just wouldn’t feel manly. I’m a kinda dom so a lady paying her way would just take all that power away from me. Not saying I am a power controlling freak. But just wouldn’t feel like respected if she paid. Respect is so important to me because of my pass so sorry if I come across as a cunt. |

"If we'd met socially, got along and agreed on a hotel meet for sex, I would be paying my share of the room cost"
As a couple we've met loads of guys in hotels and from memory not one has ever offered to share costs. |
