"Just looking for a bit of advice about brushes..
Is it worth investing in really good ones, and if so, which ones do you recommend? "
I have a mix of brushes sone from penneys, some real techniques, some blank canvas and various others.
I honestly think if you look after them they all do the same job. Tk maxx are great for picking up brushes, would definitely recommend the real technique blending brushes. Kabuki another nice brand, didn't find the sosue me brushes any good. |

It's all trial and error |

I'm a trained MUA (believe it or not)
I bought a lot of expensive brushes when I started out and found after a while I didn't really need them.
I did invest in angled brush for eyeliner and a good blender for eye shadow though. I think a good foundation brush is important too as you want a good finish.
Real Techniques work well for most things |

Gah i love all things makeup. What angled brush did you get for the eyeliner. I can never get it right. My wings usually end up looking like cousins instead of sisters |

Like the majority I have Real Techniques sets on the go. I also really love Eco Tools, they are fab and good value. Ive a few from the Body Shop years which are excellent. All of the above will last and wash and dry well and won't shed bristles. |
