Do you see any part of Fab as being a competition? Whether it's vying for attention on the fora. Getting the attention of the person you find attractive. Do you see fab as being competitive? Are you competing for anything on here?
I have reflected on this and I suppose there is the odd thread where people are asked to comment on sexy profiles and you’re thinking ‘it d be nice to get mentioned ‘. But being into group meets means I am not so affected by this I guess … |

I think there are elements of it for sure but it's not something that affects me because I can't be arsed competing for attention. Like me, don't like me, meh...don't really care 
The one place I've noticed where competitiveness is rife, is on some group chats leading up to events; who can show the most flesh, who can be the most outrageous, who can talk the loudest, who can be the biggest personality in the "room". Totally makes my shit itch. It's refreshing when a group is just chatting instead of people trying to outdo each other |

Many meets are competitive (but not all). 1 party advertises a meet, and invites others to compete to be accepted. Party places are limited so there is competition for places. The favoured people will do better than others. A true equal 1 on 1 meet can happen also |

Of course there's competitiveness.
Chat groups are notorious for it and I rarely join any now before any events.
The sly digs on updates about certain members.
The stories circulating that someone told someone who told someone else but can't remember who the originator of it all was.
The list is endless

Being honest, we used to like to see a new pic doing ok in the Irish hot pics, but we’ve accepted our level as bottom of page 2 or top of page 3 so the ‘competitive’ willing has evaporated on that front.
Wouldn’t think there’s any competition for meets. The more active we see couples we’re attracted to, the better - it’s not like there’s a limit on the amount of meets or a deadline in time.
We don’t go in for local events, so not exposed to any competition for invites or competition for popularity with attendees/ hosts. |

I do think a lot of elements of fab can be seen as competitive particularly with the amount of fellas on here
The forums in particular are competitive but in a ridiculous way, a lot of new fellas in particular pick their lane and then try to be:
Biggest Jack the lad
The most “genuine”
The most “thoughtful”
The most “understanding”
The nicest “nice” guy |

Ye just need to look at the Hotpics to see where the compitation is raging.....ive seen some load up a pic and if it doesn’t get to the top they'll remove it and load up a more daring one, the lengths some go to to get there is sad really.... |

Nope...I couldn't give a hoot who is in front of behind me in said competition. As bog said earlier we all have our own track and I'm perfectly happy to stop mid race and have myself a lil picnic if my heart desires it. I'm in no hurry and I'm happy observing the scenery as I toddle along. Stick me down on page 20 and if you see me there gives a nod and a ?? |

Men are competitive by nature, its a survival instinct. So, men will compete to get the ride, to procreate the species. In general, the race is to get sex. To the winner the spoils.
From what I observe in the women on Fab, they freely and without inhibition display their bodies to as many men as possible, and choose one, of maybe a few, of the top 5% of handsome, healthy, virile men. Here on Fab, women can easily find, and attract these men, where our societie's rules of mating dont apply. Women dont have to compete too much on Fab, as, generally they are only looking for a casual sex partner, whereas in society, they seek a mate with more attrributes like commitment, fidelity, status, earning capacity, etc. Off Fab, women have to compete harder for a suitable mate. |

Excellent. I think the perception of competitiveness on fab comes solely from within a person and not from anywhere else.

I think we all have a natural streak of competitiveness in us when it comes to 'mating'. Nothing wrong with blowing your own trumpet now and then to get some attention.
However there's plenty of unhealthy competitiveness on here too often coupled with drama, machiavellian plotting and jealousy. I steer clear of any such action and I took myself out of the hot pic competition years ago after being marginaly drawn into one of those fab queen hen fights.  |

I’m in competition with three people, myself, Mother nature and Father Time.
Father Time isn’t a variable, or can’t be altered so I dismiss it but try to make the most of it as Nast I can.
Mother Nature, yes, she’s going to have an effect on me, some things I can do something about, some things I can’t.
Myself, this I can control, it’s entirely up to myself what I post and how I conduct myself here, on the forum, in private messages and at meets, this is me. |

It's great to see the craic on those social medias - it's good for a first-timer to suss out that the group seems down-to-earth and good fun.
But the pre-event social chats on KIK or whatever seem to particularly feature the odd single male trying to appear the most fun, sort of declaring their alpha-ness, the Jack-the-lad type of guy.
Does that appeal to women & couples? Would that entice a woman or couple to seek that guy?
There's obviously room for everyone in any social setting, but how might a quieter woman or couple best go about refusing or rejecting the not-necessarily-welcome attentions of the Jack-the-lad type of guy at a fab or swinger event? The loudest guy isn't always the funniest or best company... 
I imagine the most competition would be between or among single males?

I have never felt that fab is a competition in any way for me and my journey on here.
I put pics up when I feel like taking them and because I like them enough to put them up on my profile. I never felt the need to compete for anyone's attention on here,people either like me or they don't.I have met some amazing people and I have walked away from some when any drama started as I cannot be arsed with it or having to compete with anyone. If they want to make it a competition they can go ahead and take the win as I can't be bothered with it.
Yes it's nice to get attention at times on here but I don't feel I need to compete with anyone on here to get it.

Just my humble opinion on this! I’ve notice a few females on here that had posted daily pics for a while and were always on page number1 and sometimes topped the fabbed list but lately haven’t seen anything from them. In all probability their “fans” got bored with them and they dropped down the popularity ratings. Quality rather than quantity in my opinion always works best ! Happy Fabbing everyone |

Definitely the hot pics are where competitions take place. Last year there was a war of words on status updates waged and some very nasty remarks made amongst a group of irish women. |

Nope, because sharing is caring!
I've even recommended couples to other couples and set them up together.
The whole nature documentary logic is for an animal that only has ONE mate at a time.
Sure, you can't play with everyone at the party. But if people like you, you swap usernames and go grab a drink another time. |

I tried that but I was covered in coconut oil at the time so it didn’t work and I just ended up smelling like a big Piña colada…..  |
