Profile verification. Did you ever notice?
Jump to: Newest in thread
I’d say there’s a good percentage of folk who never engage in the forums that go about their business on a daily basis without ever worrying or knowing about the forums and get to know people through mail.
The ‘get on the forums to get yourself know’ stuff that gets peddled, to me, is absolute nonsense. How many people join and have nothing filled out on their profile except for ‘was here before, verify me if you know me’ and get verified within thirty seconds by some randomer.
Verifications mean nothing to me. They say something about a person by a person. I’d like to make me own opinions of a person myself, like I do in life, but some verifications are mischievous at best. |

A lot of verifications look like they are copy and paste ! Not that it bothers me really. As you say yourself it’s better to judge for yourself. Have a good day |

Very few of the couples we have met, or the ones we hope yet to meet, actively use the forums - perhaps just a handful. We try to keep our forum interaction to threads related to sex, swinging, the Irish swing scene, or the site itself, because we want to learn more and see the forum as a resource.
What we’ve found is a cohort of users that will infact read the forum, never (or rarely) posting, and will private message us directly in response to our forum post on a particular topic. We’ve had two meets arising from such engagement with the silent forum-ers. |

Verifications mean everything to us. Don't seek them as we've made plenty of friends in the Swinging community for people to know we are genuine. But definitely look for them when seeking out new potential meets.
Used to post in forums a lot more often and use chat rooms from time to time. Everyone has their own preference I guess |

Most of the couples we meet never post on here . Recent
Verifications are important to alot of people as it is an indicator that the person or couple they are meeting are what they claim to be no just some joker chancing his arm . |

"Most seem to be from people you never see on the forum?
Like randomers dropping in and stealing fun drops of sex without engaging in the community.
Shocking! I say "
Most people don't engage in the forum's or even know they exist so not a shock. A very small percentage chat here.

I do read the forum’s and post in them only when I have something to add to the conversation. But I do see a lot of profiles posting in them just to keep themselves relevant.
I’m not sure if verifications do you any favours as I have good verification’s but no return from them |

There's forum...then there's chat and then, there's the social meet butterflies.
People active on the forum are rarely to be seen in the chat - if we are talking about Irish room and Irish forum.
...and then, there's those, who do their own business behind the scene. |

Your pics look like screenshots from a video and don’t necessarily look real (can’t be bothered reverse searching) plus, a lot of women are out off by pics where the main feature is a woman on a single male profile. In all honesty, we can barely see you in the pics so you’re not selling yourself.
I look at pics before veris so they need to be decent for me to engage. |

Not the voice of experience whatsoever. I’ve been here before and it was my opinion. Yes, I have recently rejoined, yes I’m not verified yet. Am I trying to rush things and get people to make bullshit verifications for me so I get well known as a good one and accepted? No I’m not but thank you for your opinion, I found it insightful and I took it the way you meant it. Opinions I suppose are like arseholes, everybody has one. |
