I agree, the anyone requesting a face pic should show theirs first. In my opinion. |

People will "do Fab" whatever way suits them. You can do the same. Them wanting something you're not prepared to give is just one indicator that you're not compatible |

Well, no. Obviously that's not how they operate. No-one has to do anything. And that includes you accepting their request for a face photo without providing one first. |

Honest to jaysus though, you'd get weary from the amount of threads started here by people simply because someone is using the site differently to them or in a way they disagree with. Unless it's causing someone harm... move on! |

We request face pics from single men but we are clear we won’t send one in return. If she is attracted we will meet for coffee. We also ask for additional information from single men that we don’t ask of couples or women.
You’re from a mid size west of Ireland town OP, imagine the reaction in the local pubs to news of any single male you know had joined a site looking for sex, and now imagine the reaction to the reaction to the revelation of a married couple where the wife is shared with other men.
Life isn’t as fair as we’d wish for any of us OP, all you can do is try and understand the reasons of the other party and respect their choice. |

Colin u do state in your bio “ discretion guaranteed pic on request”. Would that not mean you are willing to forward pictures if requested to. Sorry if I sound I’m disagreeing or having a go at u because I’m not. Just stating that u may give the world impression |

What people can do and what people should do out of respect and fairness are very different.
I get that you feel it would be respectful if those who asked you to commit to risking your privacy would be willing to do the same in a show of commitment and genuineness.
However as you can read above , there are some on fab who don't care about anything other than what they want , and they can choose to be this way if they want !
Your best bet is to think of it as a lucky escape from potentially meeting someone who doesn't share your views on equality of privacy .
There are plenty on fab who will meet you half way  |
