Check the time to see what ungodly hour my puppy got me up at before giving her a cuddle and letting her out for her business

OR

check the time to see what ungodly hour his alarm clock has gone off at on the weekend yet AGAIN before revisiting the quality of his sleep the previous night which gives me an indication how much pain he is in that day...and then proceeding to cuddle him before he goes for his business
