"This week I saved 15k on replacing a floor, with 20euro worth of materials from b&q. Delighted!
Floor paint?"
No it's an epoxy floor that was damaged when someone dropped something heavy... But I colour matched some dye and mixed with quick set cement based filler and it's nearly unnoticeable. I phoned a bunch of flooring contractors and NOONE was willing to repair, they all wanted to do a whole new floor. |

Getting serious progress made on our new play space. The st Andrews cross is a bit too big for where we were going to put it but jigged around it a bit so it has a home now. And before someone said oh modify it, no it's not worth the effort and cost in doing so. |

I don’t know if this qualifies as a surprise - but it’s definitely interesting |

It's a surprise that we managed to get it done this week with two birthdays and work along with d.i.y jobs that needed to be done |

Himself bought me the Snail vibe for my birthday after seeing it being recommended here by a lady as the best thing since sliced bread as a toy.
She was right . Unfortunately I can't find the thread with the comment to thank her.
Men have just become obsolete...well, maybe I exaggerate a little - you're still fantastic at changing a tyre and unblocking the sink |

As this one got resurrected - this week saw another unexpected message that's also turned into something rather wonderful.
Not to mention the continuation of some existing magic. Feeling pretty thankful all around. |
