Hey all - looking for somewhere a little bit cosy with nice private nooks for maybe a sneaky snog or two.

Any recommendations?

Would also love to know especially where chatty friendly females would be on a Saturday evening

There’s a little snug type area at back of Cork Coffee Roasters on French Church Street and in Depeche on Lancaster Quay. Upstairs in Bean & Leaf on Grand Parade or Sicilian Delights on Dothan’s Rd/ Magazine Rd. can be quiet also, likewise a little upstairs mezzanine in the Bookshelf on Pembroke Street/ South Mall. Private-ish corner at back of the Lough Cafe.

You do know your discreet locations. That's a great list. I guess I'm heading to town or the Lough then. At some stage.

And if you’re looking for some company to test out those “nooks” for privacy….

Cork City & sometimes Dublin

I do a good coffee. In a discreet living room. And I throw in biscuits also.

If discretion isn’t your number one priority, Alchemy, Soma, Filter, Joes + Bros, Three Fools, Some Dose, Thrive (drive through) or Brightside (formerly Pink Moon) will all serve a top class coffee that won’t disappoint, even if your date does.

I can report that the Cork Coffee Roasters snug appears to be closed. They do have a discreet little snug by the front door but it’s looking out on the street. Might not be ideal depending on your needs.

Ah no, it was the one at the back we were thinking of, sorry if our steer ruined your date plans, we haven’t been there for a while. Apologies.

Oh no, grateful for the info. Just looks like it’s fallen out of date for this one. The back snug was dark and had some cleaning supplies stacked in there.

Threw a kink in the plan but ultimately didn’t derail it
