Back in the day around 1983 The Sunday world had ads for condoms sent in plain envelopes from The UK to your address in Dublin as you couldn't buy them here at all
So I got a postal order for £5 and sent it off and got back 100 durex featherlites in a brown envelope sent to the job where I worked as the postman gave me the post every day
Split them into small wageslip envelopes and sold 3 condoms for one pound in Anco training centre in Tallaght
Made a few quid in the days when my wages were 35 pounds a week |

Never bought a sex toy.
Used to work ina newsagent and a lot of glossy mags, including the adult ones, just got covers ripped off and sent back to prove they weren't sold. So the rest of the magazine...

Used to have to go get the condoms in the irish family planning centre just off o'Connell street in Dublin..
It was a chore then the virgin megastore opened on the quays and you could go and buy mates condoms there.
