Women who won’t meet bi men - a question

Hey all. So, honest question, and not looking to try and change anyone’s mind. I see that it’s not uncommon for women here to say they won’t meet bi men.
I’m just curious as to why that is - if it’s just the two of you on a meet what does it matter if he also meets guys on occasion?
I can see couples wanting only straight men if himself is straight, but why single women?
Answers on a postcard please! |

I think the reason some women are afraid to meet bi men is because they think they don’t use condoms when they’re fucking.
I have first hand experience of a bi guy saying to me “sure I’m not going to get him pregnant fucking him up the ass” and that was all I needed to hear from him. He just didn’t get why he would be using condoms. Obviously I’d insist on them anyway but it makes you worry about sti’s more.
I do meet bi guys and love seeing two men playing together but I know the people I meet have some sense and responsibility for their own health. |

Each to their own I suppose. I’m a bi woman and would struggle to meet a bi guy as it’s just not my preference. It’s down to each individual and what suits their dynamic. No one should be shamed in any way whatsoever for their preferences. R x |

Wow! Literally speechless at this comment. I expect you to get a barrage of home phobic accusations regarding this comment.
However, I pretty much agree with it what you are saying

Why do people make a big fuss over preferences .....its not homophobic if its your experience
In my opinion
Some men on here lie about a lot of things and one is their sexual experiences
Straight on fabswingers and fucking anyone in the boilerhouse on fabguys or fucking TV's and TS's
Why would anyone believe you practice safe sex in those situations and put their own health in danger

I ld meet a bi guy, no probs,....
But I have experience of meeting "straight" men, who in fact are in the closet gay..... And they want you to turn them on, and when they are not turned on by a woman, it's her fault and they can get shitty. Or male, female sex just doesn't do it enough for them, so they go to extremes.
Anyway, like I said I ld meet a no guy, but the people who are uncomfortable with their own sexuality can sometimes be harmful to others.

It is your preference and it's fine. The question is, what makes a bi guy different from a straight guy. I mean, you wouldn't know Im bi unless I told you and the fact i am bi wouldn't make our meet any less enjoyable. |

I know for one I’d expect complete honesty about sexuality before a meet or I wouldn’t go through with it. Like I said it’s preferential dependant on the person. My partner is straight and I wouldn’t want to make him feel uncomfortable either. No one is saying it wouldn’t be as enjoyable it’s just a preference |

Obviously we're both bi so not really the demographic you're asking the question of OP, but as we see it:
1. They see a bi guy as less manly (a totally outdated stereotypical view that probably should be left in the 70s where it belongs
2. They perceive a bi guy as a bigger sti risk (forgetting of course that many straight guys are riding all round and are potentially are less rigorous about using protection and testing)
3. Couples with straight males think the bi guy is going to automatically want to ride the male half or suck his cock or be lusting after him (because we all know that the rules of attraction are an alien concept to bi guys and they want to fuck and suck every man that they clap eyes on)
It will invariably be dressed up as preference (and yes, of course, no-one should feel compelled to fuck anyone they don't want to) |

I approve of this comment.
The amount of ladies i know into a bi threesome with 2 guys is incredible. Its such a common fantasy.
But also the amount of guys I know on here who are bi curious at very least is also incredible.

I don't think it's a situation exclusive to bi men. The number of straight guys in the vanilla world whose decision about the need for condoms is based on a woman's contraception status is staggering. And we were all in the vanilla world once upon a time and many here are straddling both |

From what I've seen on the forums and from the site in general over the last decade or so you hit the nail on the head. We've met bi guys over the years and they were all respectful enough of the boundaries that they were told at the start. The STI stigma is awful but as bog man said there are the one who will ride anything safe or not but this could go for any guys on here or in vanilla bi or not. In our experience the ones who are smart enough to practise safe sexoutweigh the others. |

I agree completely. Ultimately it depends on the individual and how their attitude is. I consider myself heteexible (wouldn't meet with a man 1 on 1 but might do something with them in threesome and if the situation is right) and I'd never even dream of doing something with someone that doesn't consent to it.
It feels that a lot of people use fab as a "quick fuck" platform, while I prefer to build a connection first and then go from there. That usually s out a lot of both people with unalike attitudes towards protection and consent, and as a bonus the "time wasters" (although the term feels weird to use) and no-shows. |

Asa bisexual woman in the Lifestyle, I am at a great advantage. Although I come with a husband attached, and can’t quite be called a “unicorn,” my straight husband and I are the epitome of a swinging “dream team.” But, if my husband and I were BOTH bisexual we would be overlooked by more couples than I can count.
Profile after profile say, “He is very straight and she is very bi. We don’t play with bi men.”
This language is not only common place on sites like SwingLifeStyle, Kasidie and SDC, but in swinger social circles around the world. While it’s certainly okay to have specific sexual preferences, kinks and desires, it is not okay to judge, discriminate or have preconceived notions of bisexual men in the LS.
This type of thinking is toxic, unwelcoming and actually goes against everything the Lifestyle stands for. It’s bad. Like, bad bad. So bad in fact that I once heard a woman say, “Well, I don’t want a man that wants to fuck my husband more than me.”
After I picked my jaw up off the floor, I started to think about my own play preferences and swinger social circle. When I realized that I’d never slept with a bisexual man, I slapped myself.
Why hadn’t I done that?
What was stopping me?
Was I part of the problem?
When I broached the topic with my husband, he also said there was a definite trend to the kinds of couples we sought: straight man, bi woman. He also added that he had zero issue if we were to become friends with a couple with a bi man. I again kicked myself for the assumption that my straight husband would be uncomfortable around a bisexual man. After all, not every single gay person is into every other gay person. Why would I assume that every bisexual man would want to fuck my straight husband?
The answer: They wouldn’t.
Determined to not be part of the problem, Mr. Black and I decided that we would no longer keep ourselves from pursuing couples with a bisexual man, even if his wife was straight. We would just look at them as a whole and decide if there was enough attraction, common interests and wants to pursue further…

You've said that's it's just a 'preference' and in another post you called it a 'dynamic' but you never went into detail about why though?
If you met a guy, chatted to him for an hour and thought he was the biggest ride, then he says to you, I'm bi. Why then would your heart sick?
You also said "I know for one I’d expect complete honesty about sexuality before a meet or I wouldn’t go through with it". Sounds like you're afraid of something, what is it? Let's call a spade a spade, this is homophobia, no doubt about it.
Just because you don't go around calling people fags, queers etc doesn't mean you're not homophobic. Homophobia can be as subtle as the example I gave above.
The reason I believe you and other women are turned off by bi men is
1. a greater chance of catching a disease with a bi man
2. bi men are not proper men
Also, you'll never get complete honesty from a man regarding his sexuality if he thinks it will hamper his chances of getting a ride.
MF Couples lie about the their sexuality too by the way. Obviously, not the women as its 'hot' to be bi.
I'll be criticised for all this but at least I'm being honest, or am I, sure who the fuck knows, this is Fab |

"Anal sex has a much higher risk of sti's than vaginal or oral, that is a fact. Bi or gay men are more likely to participate in anal than heterosexual men so I suspect that's the reason."
I have said this also in past on here and been accused of being homophobic or having out dated thinking.
But its a fact that its far more risky and some times people want to be offended because they are offended. |

Brandishing anyone and everyone as homophobic who doesn't agree to all of your views on bisexuality is a fantastic and compelling argument. It's hyperbolic and ultra defensive tone is a great fear tool for stifling real dialogue and shutting down conversation |

We are both curious. Have played with gay/bi ts/tv. Would rather be upfront and potentially meet compatible partners than host a profile that is not accurate. While we are interested in all couples, we’re not put off if couples state they don’t like XYZ. Usually FF fun is taken as a given, but MM is something that is a rarity. We are not into hyper straight coupling where Just because “curious” is listed in a profile makes one think they are going to get their cock knobbled against their will. Way too much emphasis placed on lads sucking a bit of cock compared to girls enjoying each other which is seen as something to celebrate (and why not) |

This! 100% this.
We find it highly hypocritical when a couple with bi lady find out I’m a bi male instantly shut down everything, but they are more than happy to want to ride herself, who’s straight.
That said, if a “straight” male approaches us, looking for bi fun with me, it’s almost always a no thanks. We’re honest about it, we expect others to be too.

Anal sex as a whole. Both men and women have anuses and last time I checked, there were a good few more pics of couples up on fab having unprotected anal sex so technically, the risk is shared. There are plenty of heterosexual men who partake in anal sex, just not with other men. In the main thought, bi men will generally get checked more often for stis as their risk can be higher.
It’s a misnomer to assume bi men have more anal sex encounters than heterosexual men. Just saying… |

Yknow its the ones receiving it far far more likely to pick up an infection not the ones using the cock. Due to fluid released and the tears in the cavity. So the chances of a straight man catching something from having anal sex is much less likely than a male to male sex.
Also, a quick bit of research just now tells me 80% of male to male have anal sex where as its arounds 40% male to female have it.
The data is easily found |

"Unprotected receptive anal sex (getting assfucked) is by far the most dangerous act with regards hiv transmission.
The risk is equal for men recieving or women recieving. "
Absolutely
My point was that previous poster seem to suggest men having anal sex with women were as much at risk of men having anal sex with men.
Which is not true as you pointed out.

"Anal sex has a much higher risk of sti's than vaginal or oral, that is a fact. Bi or gay men are more likely to participate in anal than heterosexual men so I suspect that's the reason.
Just saying…
The data is easily found
Is that 80% gay male to gay male as in my very limited experience it would seem to be a very high percentage for bi men on fab
"
I would imagine its male to male relationship didnt say if it was bi or not.

"Each to their own I suppose. I’m a bi woman and would struggle to meet a bi guy as it’s just not my preference. It’s down to each individual and what suits their dynamic. No one should be shamed in any way whatsoever for their preferences. R x
No one is saying it wouldn’t be as enjoyable it’s just a preference
I'll be criticised for all this but at least I'm being honest, or am I, sure who the fuck knows, this is Fab
Brandishing anyone and everyone as homophobic who doesn't agree to all of your views on bisexuality is a fantastic and compelling argument. It's hyperbolic and ultra defensive tone is a great fear tool for stifling real dialogue and shutting down conversation"
That didn't really address anything other that an attempt to sidestep by trying to look intellectually superior |

Those stats don't apply to the fab community... you rekon only 40% of straight males/female on fab have anal ?
Its not far far more likely for bottom to get sti ....
By your logic... bi tops should be considered the very same as straight guys ? |

"Unprotected receptive anal sex (getting assfucked) is by far the most dangerous act with regards hiv transmission.
The risk is equal for men recieving or women recieving.
Absolutely
My point was that previous poster seem to suggest men having anal sex with women were as much at risk of men having anal sex with men.
Which is not true as you pointed out.
"
No, your point is valid PeterGemma and yes it’s the receiving partner at most risk - my point was that general perception is that bi men are the risk.
It’s anal sex that’s the risk, and any and all that enjoy it are potentially at risk.
Bi men get the short end of the stick as a rule because it’s perceived as every one of them likes it and takes it up the arse.
My bugbear is the hypocrisy of someone saying they will meet other people who engage in receipt of anal sex, but refuse to meet bi men on the same basis.
It is what it is, and everyone has preferences. I’m just wanting to expose the stigma for what it is, misinformation based upon faulty premise.
Yes there is data out there, but how many people will get tested if they don’t think or know there is a risk.
Test results are always skewed based on test sample pools.
Results come about from acquired data, and Gay and Bi Men will generally get tested more often because of this - hence the results.
Anyway - this is very enlightening and informative discourse everyone, and I thank you for all your input. |

"Wait..
Do not all bi men take it up the arse? "
Nope not all men!
All depends if there vers or bottom.
To tell you the truth I'm a vers guy and always play safe and if anyone says to me do BB I will get dressed and walk out! |

"Hey all.
Answers on a postcard please!"
Going by the daily amount of mails we get from guys with straight on thier profile but say they're bi, there's a reasonable chance you've met a bi guy! |
