If I read and then mark unread it means that I’m intending to come back and answer the mail when I have time (sometimes I forget though).
If I read, don’t reply and don’t mark unread, it means I’m not interested.

Same. Also might mark unread if E hasn't seen the message but I think he might |

All makes sense now.
I could have also included an option for when the message is deleted.
Interesting take. 2 people have messaged me saying sending messages is a waste of time.
Although they come with rejection I happen to like sending them.
Also to note both of the people that messaged me were not verified. |

"Excuse my ignorance, but how do I tell if one of my sent messages was read and then marked unread?"
I think you just have to spot it.
For me I send messages rarely these days and I never check the sent folder to see what happens to them. If someone replies or otherwise sends me a message then all good. Otherwise I'll be chatting on the forums |

Neither ever really bothered me when I did send messages but then again I deleted them as soon as I sent them rather than agonise over whether or not someone was going to read them.
Send and delete is the best option although my option for the last 3 years is to do neither. |

"Fellas be honest.
We have all been there. We can't be everyones cup of tea. But what's worse.
You shoot your shot and the message goes unread or it gets read and then marked as unread. "
Doesn't matter tbh ..what's worse is if you get monosyllabic answers ..l would rather see my message was read then deleted than get monosyllabic answers..when you get monosyllabic answers the other person is only replying to your text ..is not in anyway interested in the conversation , do yourself a huge favour and end it , if the other person was interested they'd continue the chat with more than one word . |
