I was chatting with a few fellow fabbers during a recent meet and we were sharing Fab stories, It reminded me of a meet I had in a Dublin hotel a few years ago. I arranged the meet, we met in the hotel lobby, proceeded to the bedroom, all great, very enjoyable. I left her to dress and I took a shower. She left after a nice chat, I jumped into a taxi to the city centre for a night out and opened my wallet to pay only to discover the €200 I got in the ATM on my way to Dublin was gone. It was obvious the lady had helped herself while I was in the shower. But the absolute cherry on top was she left me a lovely verification  I was both horrified and amused in equal measures…anyone have this kind of thing happen to them? |

Lesson learned, I think. Dont place temptation in front of people.
But, was it worth it?
I've never had any bizarre meets, fortunately. I once had a woman insisting on meeting me at my house, even though we had never met.
It didnt feel right. |

Wasn't fab, and wasn't a meet. But might still be relevant to this thread.
Left fab a year ago to join the tinder brigade. Got chatting to a lovely woman. Things progressed very quickly to a phone chat later that day. 2 mins before the call, at her request.
"Can we do a video call"
"Absolutely"
I knew it was genuine. Didn't even enter my head that it was one of "those" video calls, and it wasn't. But straight away, I realised she was at least 15 years older than her pics, if indeed it was actually her.
After 20 mins of polite conversation, I made my excuses and made it clear we werent compatible. I mean she lied straight off the bat!!!!!
She proceeded to text me for the next few days to tell me we were meant for each other and i made a huge mistake 
On any platform, the only person I have ever blocked.
So that is the reason I came back to fab, there is less drama here, and much more fun  |

Tinder is a madhouse tbh, ghosting and all manner of weirdness. I did meet a few nice girls there but you really do come across lots of what you experienced too. Fab is usually but not always more honest and straightforward. I love it. |
