I'm sure there's plenty of willing men who love the idea of NSA but, as you say, then get The Feels. Seen it happening many a time, despite their bravado when asked.
Hoping that you do find a few who fit the bill and, if I ever get to Portlaoise for any reason, would love to be considered a contender, for a coffee at least, with no compulsory buns, as I'm crap at holding back on the cream

Surely people can use the site for whatever they want to use it for. Just concentrate on those looking for the same thing as you. And make sure ye are on the same page if you meet regularly.Usually you can tell if someone is more invested in the situation than you are and then surely it's better to chat amd sort the issue out or just end it.
Yes setting up other profiles to spy is strange and odd but so is letting something continue when you know the other person is more invested in it.
Just chalk it down to experience now and keep looking for those who want the same thing as you op .

I personally like a connection, even if it's nsa. Of that makes sense. But I don't do desperation, at 47 I know who and what I am, and that took a while to figure and learn from mistakes.

First off, great song.
Secondly, I suppose different people will have differing expectations on a site like this. That's the issue I think, alot of people fail to give direct communication and often pretend they want something only to then catch feelings at a later date.
As a nation we are still quite young in our adaptation of polyamory so you're gonna have people very much thinking this is "pof" only a bit more open in terms of the type of pictures you can post here. |

I don’t get why people continue to harp on about fab not being for finding love.
Technically a swingers site is primarily for couples to swap partners but we all know it’s used for more than that.
While the majority are here for nsa, people do fall in love and have wonderful relationships as a result of meeting here.
If it’s nsa you’re looking for, set boundaries with any meets and be clear on what you want. If the other person ignores those boundaries, ditch them. |

Probably....Probably.. what scares or puts people off is when those words are said " I'm starting to get feelings for you "..you meet someone here ..you think it's only gonna be for one night or a while.. BUT ..you get on like a house on fire..the sex is mind-blowing everytime .. everything is just brilliant BUT both have to want the same thing..it's no good if only one part of the equation feels that way..when only one person feels that way it can end up in heartache..and then it hurts..it can really hurt...ouch !!! |

That's a rather outdated definition of swinging, Jaffa but I agree with you on the rest.
Anyhow my experience with jealousy fits on here were less feelings based but some develop a kind of exclusive private parking entitlement after meeting them two or three times. You either make absolutely clear that you're into diversity, other solution is stop meeting them.
Different story with a fb, much higher chances of developing feeling.

Fab should be whatever you want it to be. There is no right or wrong way here. We all have different wants needs and desires. Here definitely has something for everyone and isn't exclusive for those who just want casual sex. There are the couples who have met their partners here and some have recently got married. Maybe the whole term of what swinging was is a bit outdated now as more and more people are joining for different reasons. All we can do is be honest and upfront about what we are looking for and what our expectations are. If we are then there should be less problems. |

I agree I have met couples at socials on here and they got with each other through fab and some people of here actually go to socials to try someone who would like to be in a open relationship and being honest I'd be open to it if I met the right girl I connected with on a deeper level |
