Hi,
I'm looking to tick Ireland off the list and spend some time there and take in the culture.
Can anyone recommend any towns and places to visit?
Hiking trails would also be appreciated |

Clifden, Westport, Dingle all very lively in summer. Dead in winter though so depends when you're coming.
Loads of hiking near all three towns.
Sligo is great too. Beaches are fab and some nice hikes including Ben Bulben. |

The West of Ireland is beautiful place to visit Galway City is always great spot to go out and you could go hiking in Connemara it's so beautiful and wild over there. No such much a swing scene but the scenery is stunning. Dublin City would be best place for Fab meets as there more activity there. Have a wonderful trip to our beautiful country |

Have to agree with these guys, Galway brilliant but try Mayo also, Westport an unreal town with loads to do then the hard decision is whether you head north for Donegal or South for Kerry!! Hell….just do them all. |

Donegal , without question. Was back once this yr and twice last year. You’ll need a car rental imo. Roads are ok , absolutely stunning landscapes. You can explore different places daily.

OP you are in for a treat...Ireland is SO beautiful!!
Here are a few of my favourite spots:
Galway city such a fun and cool place..great restaurants and bars but also get out to Barna (if you love seafood) and Clifden
West Cork - Skull, Castletownbere, Kinsale, Skibbereen...all beautiful little villages with great character and amazing food
Cliffs of Moher - spectacular just had to be seen... anywhere basically on the Wild Atlantic Way
Lahinch in Clare and Enniscrone in Sligo if you like surfing (amazing sea baths too)
Carlingford - such a beautiful place great views and walks and great restaurants
Blessington Lakes/Dublin Mountains/Enniskerry and Powerscourt Gardens/Waterfall - great for walks/hikes
The ring of Kerry
Wexford & Waterford - the Sunny South East! Try Duncannon, Tramore and Dunmore East....some great beaches...
Meath - get to the hill of Tara or Newgrange but very magical spots
I've plenty more but I think that's enough...have fun!
