"I maybe wrong ... I've not used air bb, don't they all have privacy given your renting a house alone ? "
Some of them say private check-in when they aren’t. I stayed in one on work business a few years ago. After nearly a day without sleep I was hoping to check in and get my head down.
Instead I got the full welcome party, then they wanted me to attend their wine and cheese evening  |

I rented an Airbnb one bed cabin in laois for a mfm.
Kitchen, sitting room, bathroom and bedroom.
Not huge inside but quiet sufficient for our needs.
And very discreet.
