Hi all,
So the choice to shave or not shave downstairs is a personal one. I dont shave upstairs or downstairs because I get beard rash.
I get that some people dont like the unshaven. But today a lady saw a picture of it on my profile and messaged to say I was dirty and blocked me.
I thought it an extreme reaction and wanted to point out that not all people can shave. |

Unfortunately op some people believe that body shaming is a one way street.
Others see nothing wrong in instructing a man in how he should dress or present himself but would circle the other wagons if the same comment was aimed at them. |

It's a personal choice OP. I shave regularly top and bottom as I find it more hygienic and prefer if the ladies do the same. As for the body shaming, it's part of life here on fab. There was a thread about a couple of days ago. But you do what you want to OP |

It's a myth that unshaven is less hygienic. The hair growth is actually part of your bodies way to protect from outside bacteria. I wax monthly myself because it is a personal preference. You are entitled to do whatever you like with your own body. |

Leaving aside the whole issue of personal choice, it is not more hygienic to shave the nether regions.
Shaving leaves you way more open to skin to skin infections. Yes, it eliminates the risk of picking up pubic lice but you run an increased risk of picking up much worse. You can buy shampoo which will easily kill lice. Some skin infections may be a little trickier.
A well washed garden is the ideal in terms of hygiene. |

Exactly, why anyone sends a message to a stranger to tell them they don't like something is beyond me |

Maybe a bit of trimming then could work wonders... |

Sorry OP to hear that , its silly really & narrow minded. Dosent bother me wheter a man is shaven down below or not, its your own body & choice. And I actually prefer sometimes it not shaven as we ladies can get a stubble rash which is frickin horrible. So neat n tidy all the way with Hairs ha...live &, let live !! |

You body your choice to do what you want with it op.
Try a hair clipper with a guard to trim it back if you've problems with fully shaving. Or try feet for men if you'd like it bare. |

"But you can trim at least?! "
Sure he can if he wants.. or choose not to. There is nothing gross or dirty about having hair on your body... And using words like that to describe someone else's body is really shitty. |

How is that any different than someone saying to you
I'm not into cheap looking blondish hair looks gross girls but take yourself to a good hairdresser, keep it looking good ...as we guy do ....

Imagine, I managed nearly 30 years of sex with full bush and no self-consciousness. Happy days.
In all that time only 1 man made the (unsolicited) suggestion that I should trim, and he got a swift ejection from the love-nest lol

Some woman like bush some of them don't. The point is how you feel with your bushes or without them. I don't know have them and I like it but in other manner I would love to have some nice trimmed bushes.
Point of view depends on point when you are down...( Shit hope it's translate as I wanted ) |
