Can we make a blacklist here?

Hi guys,
I'm sure all of you have experienced a catfish here or fake profile at least once...
I love fab but it's the one thing that puts me off logging on sometimes and wasting time speaking with... well, imposters!! 
Not sure if this is something we are allowed to do but can we get some sort of list going to at least warn others of fake profiles and help eachother out?

You aren't allowed to name and shame for very good reasons.
It would be far too easy to abuse it and name-drop people for all sorts of stupid reasons.
There are lots of external chatgroups that specialise in those sorts of things.
It's very easy to avoid being catfished.
I've never chatted to a fake profile in almost 7 years so if I can avoid them anyone can. |

I dont know about that  the person message me and was verified by well verified people on here, the page went private and they hadnt logged on since the massage was sent i was lucky because it was local for me so i didnt have to travel far |

You see profiles who have not logged on in weeks and they’re logged on again with a second and 3rd profile.
I’ve been asked countless times am I fake and please send a photo doing this and that. No problem |

i suppose if your are being honest with people it shouldnt be a problem its only when your lie on all 3 profiles to the same person could be embarressing lol |

The only think you can do is block and report them anything else could be taken advantage of if someone were to have a unfavourable interaction with you they could make up all sorts of lies just because you said no to something they wanted |

Yeah, I get your points. I guess it wouldn't really make much of a difference and just to make it clear, I would never name and shame people's identities here! My idea was just to give others a heads up is all.. there's nothing worse chatting with someone and then finding out they're using someone else's pics 
But thanks for your opions, that's what the forums for!
I just rather go straight to Snapchat now and swap live pics from the get go to save time chatting to profiles here. |
