Comedians are my favorite gigs even going to see a Belfast comedian in Dublin tonight who I think will be huge sooner than later
Personally I find Michael McIntyre as funny as a dose of diarrhoea |

Pretty much any social media "comedian" - Rory's Stories being top of the pile along with that fella from somewhere in the midlands who sits in his car just shouting. None of it is remotely funny and I can never wrap my head around the popularity and large followings they get. |

Them two in particular I can't stand social media can be thanked for that shite i think. very few good comedians in my opinion. My favourite are frankie Boyle and Kevin bridges but I've a dark sense of humour  |

Paddy McGuiness, a coattail riding, catchphrase spouting professional northerner who thinks the shite he comes out with is comedy gold.
Michael McIntyre and Lee Evans are irritating as well.

That prick Ricky Gervais has to be the up there as the least funniest gobshite around!! I've never even grinned at a single thing he has said!! A few mentioned above I'd have to disagree with though...Al Murray rip's the piss out anyone that's not English,Dara O Brian rips the piss out of the audience and Tommy Teirnan rip's the piss out of everyone!! Seen them a few times each and always come away with sore sides. Goes to show... there's no accounting for taste!!!  |

It isn't an objective thing. You can't say objectively that someone is unfunny if they've become very successful doing comedy. Ricky Gervais does very little for me but clearly a huge amount of people find him funny so he's funny to them.
Must of the people here are quite successful so presumably a lot of people find them funny. The objectively unfunny ones will be people we've never even heard of.
Miranda Hart being the obvious exception  and that's the only time I've ever had a funny face in relation to her.   |

Tommy is funny on a very rare level .. I think its the rawness of his frantic manic side that some people struggle with ... the man struggles with manic depression and allows his vulnerabilities around this to be seen by all through comedy and deep intellectual conversation.

There was a time I didn't find Al Murray funny but I gave some of his stuff a chance and found I enjoyed it. Has one of the most committed punchlines I've ever seen. |

Took me a while to think of any comedian, apart from those two clowns, already mentioned.
Never got that 'stand-up' comedy thinng, just telling silly jokes?
But, three worth mentioning:
- Brendan Grace
- Des Bishop
- Hector /?/ don't even remember his name, ginger 'as gaelige' type of whinger bloke
Not sure if any of those is still around though. |

Thank you how anyone finds him funny is beyond me . I got guards called to him few years ago doing a sketch on grafton street and made a comment about my child in wheelchair and had ginger hair . I swung for him |
