No. You lie on the bed.
Lay means two things..
You lay an object down, as in, place it in a horizontal position.
OR
You lay on the bed in the past.
However...
You lie on the bed now. |

Lucky I'm just a blow in from the north or I'd have been offended by that comment instead I laughed out loud. But not too loud though. I'd annoy the neighbours. Paddy next door filled the inflatable pool for the kids now the whole town is queuing up for a bath. They'd think I was laughing at them
