"Got 500mb for €35pm on vodafone 12mths contract.
Pdoes that then increase after the 12 months?"
You'll have to check the terms and conditions of the contract. More often than not, the contract runs for 12 months, some do 24 month contracts. After that timespan the monthly cost generally increases substantially so you're best off doing your shopping around like you might with an insurance policy annually.
Also be aware that most of these companies now want a month's notice to cancel the contract so put a reminder in your phone/calendar ahead of this time in order not to fall into that trap.
I'm currently shopping around because my contract is out soon.
I've seen Sky and Pure with offers for €30 a month for 12 months.
It really depends on your location (who provides and the quality of download and upload speed) and whether you want to add landline or TV package too.
Hope this helps |

Yes in theory... but I call a week before the contract ends and tell them I'll move if they don't keep the same price and they kept it. Worked for 3 years so far. |

They'll match what you are paying to keep you but you really have to push for it without taking their bullshit.
Just been on to Vodafone there. I'm paying 35 a month. 2 other companies have offers of 30 a month currently.
Told Vodafone from the start of the conversation that I'm cancelling unless they match best offers out there.
They first offered 40 a month!!!
When I asked them, what part of matching current best price offer they didn't understand and why would I stay to pay an extra tenner a month, she said "for the convenience of not having the hassle to move".
I just laughed and she came back with sticking with the current rate which is still a fiver more a month than cheapest provider.
Needless to say, I gave notice to cancel. No skin off my nose |
