Does it really change anything in regards to fab if you’re meet verified or not? How has being verified changed how others see you on fab in your opinion? |

It shouldn't matter really. Alot of people wouldn't interact with another person, on a 1 to 1 bases,
so to speak, unless they're meet verified. As they don't believe it's a real person behind the profile.
The only place it doesn't matter at all is in the forum(like now). People will talk away to eachother in a thread verified or not. |

I've never met anyone based on a verification from someone else but I have avoided meeting plenty based on verifications they have so there is more chance of me meeting someone with no veries than there is of meeting someone verified by particular characters.
Verifications don't really guarantee anything apart from the fact they turned up once.
They don't even guarantee that the person is real or genuine, just that they were able to maintain a persona for a couple of hours.
In saying all that though the only real abuse I've had on here was from an unverified woman who had been here before and knew the ropes simply because I said no.
Does it make a difference?
It depends on the person behind the profile really.

I don't think it makes that much difference it certainly doesn't open to flood gates to meets just because you get a veri,which is a misconception that some have on here. Yes I now have filters on to stop unveried messaging me now that's to cut down on messages.
I though have met several people who are unveried in the past.The fact they weren't veried never entered the equation when it came to me deciding to meet them or not. It's always been more about the person and how we get on has been a deciding factor in meeting .
Veris only prove someone showed up anyhow on a given day.And one persons perfect meet would be another's nightmare.Plus some veris would make me avoid meeting a person as well,easier to avoid than have the chance of being dragged into drama that can follow.
So no I don't think being veried or not is a massive deal on here.And it is definitely not the main reason that would put me off meeting or interacting with someone. |

I don't go by verifications. If I think someone is ok I'll generally meet them. But it is unfortunate that due to the amount of fake profiles on here that some people tend to use veris as a decider to meet or not. |

You have to be either photo verified or verified as well as after a certain time before you can partake in the forum's , you can reply privately if within filters if not verified, that's what came up on my screen everytime. |

This is one of the reasons we find verifications useful.. typically don't care who provides the ver but it's good to know if a guy is a flake or not.
That being said, we've been meetghosted by a couple of VERY well verified and then immediately blocked afterwards so there's that  |

Being an unverified man feels like a handicap. The meets arranged all mention being for verified profiles only. Many profiles mention that they won't read or reply to unverified messages.
So while a verification may not guarantee good faith, it certainly restricts the options.
I suppose I could go down the cam route except that's not my thing.
So yes I think it makes a difference. |

We don’t place much importance on verifications other than avoiding people with a vast list of them. We are all different people who want different things and it’s the interaction in massages that matters most to us rather than their historical meetings. Verifications are like references no one displays a bad one!

I think once people chat to anyone who are unverified they can get a handle on their intentions and how genuine they are as they usually disclose additional mitigating circumstances for not meeting or being immediately available. This can create a degree of understanding on both parts but also can flush out the timewasters. That said, I dont see it as a panacea to 'not turning up' or 'timewasting' as even those well verified can also be guilty of this.
I think where it makes the biggest difference is when socials are being organised and the non verified excluded from the onset.
Whilst I am not verified (this time round) I do understand all the rationale behind the exclusion but to me, this remains the biggest drawback from not being verified. |

It matters to 95% of the ladies on fab if you’re verified or not. The other 5% are not verified themselves. Add that to their No pic No chat philosophy and you literally have no chance of a meet! |
